Brian consistently proves to be one of the most down-to-earth and loyal business owners around. If I ran a multi-million-dollar toy company, I probably wouldn't even bother with this site. He does, and that really legitimately means a lot.

As for the announcement itself...jeez, what have we done to deserve all of these?? Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a particularly welcome surprise. It'll be nice to see the "Books" line grow after Harry Potter and Hunger Games became part of "Movies".

I'm exceptionally excited for more Pirates, of course. A Barbossa and a Davy Jones would be absolutely killer (and maybe even some sort of "Cursed" Barbossa variant...? )

The BIGGEST surprise was PAC-MAN! Like...I can't even begin to imagine how you'll make him work, but I'm 100% game all the same!

Duck Dodgers...oh man, does that mean we'll finally be getting a Marvin the Martian Pop??

I know you guys teased Spider-Gwen on Twitter a while back, but I'm ridiculously glad to hear it confirmed from the Big Man himself. And a 6" Alien Queen?? Guys, I love you, but you need to stop spoiling us, it's bad for our psyches (and our wallets)!

Hopefully this article about KISS renewing some licensing agreements means we'll see another round of KISS POP! figures or some Vinyl Idolz.

I'd personally much rather see another Buffy wave than Angel (we need an Anya Pop!), I wasn't that big of a fan of Angel, although I do think Lorne and Illyria pops would be awesome.

Me too. I just don't think it's going to happen anymore at this point, sadly.
I definitely think Lorne and Illyria would make perfect Pops, but for them to happen they would have to make another Angel, him being the main character and all, and we already have one of him. They could do vamp face Angel... but realistically? AtS getting its own line seems like a huuuggeee stretch.
That being said, how cool would puppet Angel be though?

I'd like to believe that the Buffy Pops sold decently. There's still such a cult following for the show, and it's talked about so often, even in mainstream media. On this board alone there's a ton of people itching, scratching, and rolling on the floor for wave 2 (not me, of course ). And back when Vampire Spike came out, it's all anyone was talking about. I'd have a really hard time believing that it didn't sell well, especially pinned against some other licenses that are out there.

I'd like to believe it too. But all of them are still easy to get, even SDCC Buffy. Vampire Spike's price hasn't really gone up much, even though he's got a completely new head sculpt... I don't know. Part of me thinks that the small group of people who ARE buying them (like the people on this forum) are just really vocal, making it seem like they were a bigger hit than they actually were in reality. Maybe they sold okay, just not good enough to risk producing a second wave... I hope I'm wrong though, truly!
I promise right now, Funko, if you do another wave, I will purchase 3 of each Pop. Even if you make a Kennedy

Awesome update!! Super, super excited for more Pirates. When I saw the Dorbz line coming out, I was a little bummed since I knew we only had Jack. Not bummed anymore! And Willy Wonka will be awesome! And Zootopia cause I can't wait to see that movie! Miss Peregrine’s will be interesting. Been wanting to read the series, and haven't gotten around to it yet. He'll continue to tease more throughout these next three months, and there will always be more surprises that go unannounced.

In the meantime, when the president of a company goes out of his way to selflessly share a couple of upcoming licenses when he didn't have to, the absolute last response any loyal Funatic should be sharing is "BUT I DIDN'T GET WHAT I WAAANT!!" Appreciate the fact that you got a Wave 1 in the first place, be grateful for his teases, and be patient for the future.

To be fair though it's not like it's completely unjustified for people to be a little annoyed and being eager for another wave. It does often seem with some of the lines of which Buffy is one of them where they intentionally hold back some of the core characters from the first wave and instead make up the numbers with minor charachters. For example did we really need Oz who wasn't really around for long or The Gentlemen who were in a single episode before Xander and Giles. Obviously they would want core characters to help sell a second wave so I can see the business sense but it does leave a collection feeling incomplete if they don't make another wave.
