Saw a snow trooper at one of my local Walgreens, but he is the one pop in this collection that I have no interest in. Sigh.

I sure hope that's not the case! There are enough stops to have to make as it is, much less picking up 1 at a time searching through every Walgreen's in a 50 mile radius!

Went by the Walgreens nearby me which show some in stock. Saw only the Imperial Guard which is in nice shape and had the manager look in the back to see if there was anymore. Came back out with Boba Fett proto. Grabbed those two and kindly asked when did these come in. I was told that these came in Thursday shipment of stuff and that not all of Walgreen locations will be receiving them.

Lucky.. Here in Tucson, most Walgreens managers have no idea what i am talking about and wont check the back. "if its not on the shelves, we dont have it"

My suggestion is not to use the website URL to check inventory. Ashley's screenshots of inventory is your best bet. I had a manager check the WIC across a few districts and none of the stores on the website that shows them in stock actually had them in inventory. The stores on the website actually had never got them yet from the warehouse.

So, here I am, and Popcultcha, here I come. Because **** this hunt, I do not have the patience to deal with inaccurate stock and rude employees haha

Yeah I don't blame your frustration, it always sucks driving around wasting time+gas and coming up empty handed. Ashley is at least a Walgreen's employee, so she is able to see the most accurate view of actual stock (or at least stock counts as of midnight, before their inventory refreshes/updates etc). The website is very inaccurate though. One thing to consider is that even if the store shows them in stock in Ashley's screenshot, there are going to be a good deal of employees misleading you about stock, or they simply buy them up as they hit the store. The spider-man POP craze alerted a lot of employees about resell value.

If you order off Popcultcha you won't get the message on the back of the box misspelling "Wallgreens" :roflmao:

Dude, I'm not trying to be a dick here, but have a little patience. These things just got released, and for many stores they won't even be released until Friday.

I really don't think these will be as hard to come by as the Marvel exclusives were for some. It's Star Wars, and it's part of a pretty damn big worldwide release event. Before long these pops will be readily available and if you can't find them at your store then ebay will have them for maybe a buck above retail.

I'm not saying don't be annoyed at Walgreens, cause yeah they kinda suck and their employees shouldn't be rude about it, but just wait a few weeks until you start getting this upset. If it's gas and time that's bugging you then wait to hunt until Friday or later when many of those boxes held in the back will be out on the floor.

Please don't associate one or two employees doing their job or being "rude" with the entire Walgreens work force.

I called about 8 stores last week to look for a Venom and every store had almost the exact same polite manner. Not to mention jambes takes out what I'm guessing a huge amount of time to help everyone here with store inventories.

I went on a walgreens hunt yesterday for an imperial guard and the employees i talked to were cool, except the one i talked to at my local walgreens, she seemed to not really want to help at all. In hindsight, with the time and money spent on gas, I think next time I'll just stick to popcultcha even though I did find the imperial guard.

I was associatig my statement with my experience....not the entire workforce. My apologies, I realize now that came off that way.
But I wasn't kidding, of all the stores I visited, everyone seemed like they hated their job and really didn't want to help me. I don't think I'm all too threatening, looking like I'm still in highschool. I always try to be nice, because I know how a bad customer can ruin your day. I couldn't get good customer service for the life of me.

I'm sure they'll turn up, but I honestly don't think the gas, time, and patience is really worth it at this point.

Again, my apologies if anyone got offended by my post. I wasn't intentially trying to be rude, just figured I'd throw out my experiences and opinions -- which is why we're all on the forum anyway.

Here are a few things to know about the listings I post:
- When posted, they are as of midnight the night before. So its possible they will sell out by the time you get there, or stores that don't already show they have it, may get them. CALL FIRST, SAVE GAS AND TIME.
- If I post a listing and don't update within a few days, then the list may be obsolete. I don't have the time to track every day, I do this when I get spare time. Uploading so many pictures from my phone takes time, literally several hours a week, plus responding to PMs. Use this list as a generalization of what areas they are appear to help narrow your search and when to start looking in your town.
- Considering all of that, they are accurate at the time I post them. To have those numbers, they were physically scanned into the store and posted to the system. If they are to lazy to look for you, that's not something I can help you with.
- When I was posting these last time for the Marvel exclusives, I was told they ended up all over Reddit and we had an influx of new members, creating accidental competition amongst ourselves. Once the toy Revision happens (Which I believe is Septebmer 11) I will probably stop publicly posting and helping through an individual basis. Most stores should have them in by then, and be willing to take them out of their stockroom.

Edit: DO NOT USE WALGREENS.COM TO TRACK THESE That is for the basic assortment of Pops, not the exclusives. You will find things like Frozen instead. We have 3 difference "links" at the moment - one for Marvel Exclusives, one for Star Wars Exclusives, and one for everything else that is non exclusive. (including everything from Frozen to SW Ep. 07 Pops) Using the website listing will give you the third grouping.

I am sure there are other things she could be doing but she is providing us information out of kindness and the Funatic spirit. So quit crying/complaining when you can't find these Pops! at your local Walgreens. Just be patient and you will get your chance to buy them.

Firstly, I'd like to address a firestorm I may have started.

I in no way meant to disrespect anyone here on the forums. Again, I was sharing my experience. I'm neither angry now nor impatient, just rather irked about how I was treated as a customer.

Secondly, @jambes, THANK YOU. Your information and insight has been infinitely helpful, and again, I meant no disrespect. There aren't many of us that have access to store information that we can share amongst everyone on the forum, so your time is very much appreciated, and I'm sure I'm not just speaking for myself here.

I failed to mention that I had gone to a store last week, and the manager bumped his order for me, but wasn't sure what would arrive.

Got a call today telling me I should come in, and
LO AND BEHOLD there were 18 in stock!! Soo...

Using the inventory checker online, I managed to get all but Boba at a store in LA. It was the only store that actually had the stock right online. The other six stores that were listed as in stock had not stocked any Pops in months.

I may actually take you up on this if it isn't too much trouble. I'm quite the impatient type but I've also exhausted pretty much all of my options so far (not very many Walgreens around me, let alone ones that constantly stock POPs) I've been able to find 3 of the four exclusives but the one that is avoiding me is the Yoda, and of course he's my favorite of the set (that happened to me with Spidey 2099 as well .) It'd actually be great to not have to waste any more gas to hunt for him anymore hahaha. Let me know!

And I'm IN Houston.

And so far, only one of the Walgreens stores I've gone to, where the online stock checker says it's in-stock at that particular location, could even find them. And then I had to wait like 15 minutes while they checked in the back.

Just dropped in to a different Walgreens here in town. Clerk had a big cart of things to put out. There was 1 Snowtrooper on it. She said there were more toys in the back that she was working on. I'll be back tomorrow! I may be able to pick up a few extra if anyone is interested.

Another succesful Hunt in Tucson Az. Found Yoda and Boba Fett. 2/2 stores that I checked online had them in Stock. Now I need to keep an eye for the Imperial Guard and im done stalking Walgreens
