They should definitely keep making MTG Pops

I LOVE that one! I was hunting for him at a decent price for a while but no luck. He would look so awesome with my other Nicol Bolas(the only MTG Pop I have). Sadly I have given up the search because ebay prices were just stupid. Sigh.

Yeah I bought him off a fellow Australian collector, wasn't cheap (I paid about $250AU) but they are tough to track down so didn't want to pass it up.

I thought the Mtg pops had rad details too and quite liked them though I don't play it or know anything bout it. I think Funko does their best work when the pops are of creatures or armored pieces

I dont play MTG or know anything about it either. In fact it was my husband that pointed out Nicol Bolas in the first place. Once I finally looked him over I totally fell for him. He hangs out with my 6'' dragons. Even went online and bought him a shiny foil mtg card

Such a cool looking piece. I live about 90 minutes from Milwaukee, where they're having a pro tour event in October. I absolutely plan on taking a trip up to try and get one of these. I believe they have a strict limit of one per person and only something like 80(?) for sale at each event, but when October rolls around I'll see if I can help.

Now, as for unvaulting - rocks. Hendrix, Marley, Tupac, Biggie, just keep em coming. Then, when sales skyrocket, bring that line back strong. Because it's the s***.

Pop Rocks definitely need to come back...

On the whole vault concept altogether in regards to people having paid big money in the secondary market... I don't take issue with the practice at all and it happens with any kind of limited edition, are or no longer manufactured collectibles and I don't take any issue as I've collected cards, comics, toys etc and it exists on all ends. Part of the game. For the collectors that have paid big money I look at it like comic books...you won't hear comic book collectors complaining about reprints because the game is about getting the first print. So if you're an in box collector it's still cool if you paid big because you got the first run. OOB people probably care less...it's what you make it...

I might be mad about having paid quite a bit for some of the older DC pieces...but then I remember I benefitted greatly from the re-release of Star Wars pieces and other people should have the chance to do so with other pops. So win some, lose some, nothing to get upset about.

Also, do you think they'll do chase pieces for the DC re-releases? For instance, Chase Batgirl. That one's been on my list since day one, and I'd love to be able to find it for retail rather than ridiculous Ebay prices.

Keep in mind, there are a lot of pieces that I and the rest of this forum call "vaulted/retired" that have never been officially deemed so. Even on Funko's vault page, I don't see Riddler, Penguin, Mad Hatter, etc. I've always kept that in mind when deciding whether or not to buy an older Pop off eBay for a high price.

I've only bought a few "retired" pieces. I got Grumpy for $35 and Batgirl for the same.

My top choices would be Riddler, Two-Face, Batgirl, and Penguin. But I'd also LOVE a chance to get Martian Manhunter (to complete my Justice League), Green Arrow, and Hawkman.

I really hope these all get unvaulted. Although we are getting more DC Pops all the time with the Arkham series and the television side of things, it's going to be a while before we get a larger selection from the movies. Aquaman might be in the BvS line, but others like Shazam won't be out for a few years most likely. Fingers crossed we get the characters we want

This. I don't care if they have different colored boxes, I just want Two-Face and Penguin in my collection. They 'retired' before I ever became a collector. And I'm sure there are a lot of people who are mad they never even got a chance to get them.
