Im very curious about this, like what is the 'heavy hint'

well most people assumed that 1 of the pops in the Secret Wars box would be the character featured ON the box. And CC already confirmed there are 2 in this box and they also said to look closer at the box as there are 2 characters somehow on the box. You can tell who the one is immediately but most of us have been speculating who the second could be.

The videos been removed, but from what I can gleam from the comments is that it was a proto of
Spoiler: show
the person featured on their Secret Wars box.
Which was a hint that they already told us. That leaves one Pop! left to figure out.

I just missed the pre order for Unmasked Iron Man, but no worries Yellow Jacket was out of stock for about a week before it came back online for preorder. Whoever catches it first please post in here when it happens.

I wonder if we'll ever get a reason as to why? He was an enormous part of AoU, and he would've looked amazing as a Pop.

Then again, we've gotten Jasmine with no Aladdin, so maybe we should've...seen this coming.

Just curious who here has the Japan Metallic exclusive for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 premiere. Any info on how many there were? I'm so mad that I didn't grab that months and months ago. Now it has become a grail, not to mention rising in price, and it's driving me nuts.

Why isn't Quicksilver happening? They really are making one of two TWINS? Is this because of the feminists complaining that there were too many male pops in the line? That is the only reason I can think of that Scarlet Witch got a Pop and he didn't.

Good grief.

"The Feminists" didn't have anything to do with this one. FOX did.

Marvel went bankrupt back in the 90's, they sold the rights to a lot of their characters. Marvel Studios was founded and they were able to get the rights back to some of the characters. However, FOX and Sony still had characters, Fox had X-men, Fantastic Four, Deadpool, ( all the mutants basically ) and Sony had Spider-Man and his enemies.

but a couple of years ago, Marvel Studios bought back some character rights, Daredevil, Electra, Punisher, Ghost Rider, etc.

Marvel got rights back to Scarlet Witch, but not Quicksilver. FOX "shared" him for the movie and that was about all they were willing to do. There's been hardly anything with Quicksilver on it. Infact, I think I've seen two action figures at most.

Someone posted on here awhile back that Funko was trying to get the license to Pietro, but it fell through. It sucks.

So "The Feminists" weren't responsible for this one. : P

You're about 85% right but let me correct a few points.

-The film rights at all the different studios are on leases. the studio has to have a new movie based on that property in production within X years to keep the rights. Fox let the rights lapse back to Marvel for the characters you mentioned, however Marvel didn't have to pay a penny to get those rights back.
-Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are both co owned by Marvel and Fox because they were equally prevalent in Avengers as they were in X-Men comics. Fox has chosen not to utilize Scarlet Witch but they could.
-Marvel was within months of getting Fantastic 4 back, those characters would have reverted to Marvel at about the same time as Daredevil, Ghost Rider, etc, however Fox didn't want to give up the FF so they decided to rush into production. Had it not actually started filming in time the rights would have reverted, I think they were within a month of the window closing. Marvel actually offered to Fox that they could keep the smaller characters in return for giving up rights to Silver surfer and Galactus. Marvel knew that Fantastic 4 would need those 2 characters in the long run and they desperately wanted the rights back.
-Spider-Man is now co owned by both Sony and Marvel and the reason for that is two-fold. 1) ASM2 got horrible critic and fan reviews, and 2) Sony as a company is having massive financial troubles (not the studio in particular, but the whole company). Sony was desperate so they decided to partner with Marvel.

Also worth noting is that the film rights were only leased out because otherwise Marvel was facing bankruptcy at the time. It really was the only option to stay afloat.

Yeah, from a documentary about Marvel comics I watched a while ago, things seemed pretty grim there in the late 90's/early 2000's. Much as it sucks now, if Marvel hadnt leased out the film rights to all those different studios at the time, they very possibly could've gone under.

In other news, the twin is set to release on 8/7 according to Gamestop... But I still trust EE more at September.

And I got my Agent Carter. Great pop figure!

It's not confirmed, just an educated guess. I'd put $ on it though. It'll be the same figure it is now, just 1 less baton and a shield instead.
