Honestly, exactly what I was thinking. This would probably frustrate me if I was a collector that had these pieces.

Nah, Funko knows the secondary market too well to simply rerelease vaulted Pops exactly the way they were. If nothing else, they'll at least give new unvaulted Pops different packaging, as to distinguish the old and the new.
So if you're an in-box collector, now is your time to shine brightest!
