Any whispers or rumors of more X-Men Pops?

Just curious if there are any rumors of more of the classic style Pops coming, like the last wave of Storm, Magneto etc...

I know they can't do the movie ones, which is fine since the costumes were underwhelming to me, but I'd really love some classic looks of ones we haven't gotten yet, or different costumes of ones we do.

Nightcrawler, Forge, Bishop, Iceman, Angel/Archangel, Shadowcat, Rogue, Gambit or some of the villains like Sabretooth, Blob, Toad, Pyro, Mister Sinister etc.

X-Men are my favorite Marvel characters so I'd love a lot more.

Any rumblings in Funko land? 8-[

I think a Gambit Pop would come out great. He could be holding his staff in one hand and cards in the other. Also he has to have purple eyes.

I thought at one point Brian all but announced X-Men '92 Pops during the 12 Days of Christmas thing? Surely that means Rogue in her bomber jacket, which is easily one of the best superhero costumes of all time. With Rogue should come Gambit, Colossus, and Jubilee. Right?

The only issue i see with these is the announcement of these pops being before the Marvel ban on men and fantastic four products.

I heard thats why the metallic quicksilver pop got cancelled.

While I suppose that's a legitimate worry (come on, Marvel, I just want a few more X-Men!), that can't possibly be the reason why Quicksilver was cancelled. I thought the Quicksilver Pop was part of the Avengers line, which Funko and Marvel would want to promote as much as possible.

Was the announcement of more X-Men ever officially made by Funko? I remember someone on here mentioning it, and then every seemed to run with it, but I can't recall Funko or Brian saying anything about it. Although I would definitely not be opposed. The X-Men line is easily some of my favorite Pops and Rogue, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Iceman, etc? They might as well just take my wallet now.

What about the new movie coming out- is that something that can or cannot be produced? I know Jean Gray, Jubilee, and Nightcrawler at least have classic appearances in it.

New movie likenesses I think are a no go, funko was able to the comic series x-men with the last movie so hopefully happens the same way with the next, I much prefer comic versions of the x men than movie versions.

Marvel has not gone out of their way to support the non-MCU properties (Spiderman, X-Men, FF). I think the idea is to starve them back into the fold.

I would hope that such a stance would not prevent Funko from doing Comic versions of these characters.

I don't even care about the movie versions! I would prefer 100x more to have the classic X-Men! I mean, Angel, Banshee, Rogue, Gambit? COME ON!! We need these now!

They are trying to shut out X-Men and FF, but they've been fully supportive of Spider-Man, as they got the full merchandise rights back a few years ago and are now co-producing the movies with Sony.

He's the comic/90's show version, not related to the films in anything other than name. Presumably, that's why

Whatever happened to Nightcrawler? I thought we heard they were making him and suddenly nothing. I'd love more X-men as well but glad they can't do the movie ones. I'd just really love Nightcrawler (flocked with gitd eyes!!!) , Shadowcat (with Lockheed on shoulder please!) and Angel (and then a blue Archangel variant with metallic wings). I think I bring them up every year and it's always the same variants I want lol

Until Disney Marvel gets X-Men and X-Men associates (mutants, morlocks, etc.), I do not think any mutant or the like can be made. The word is there will be no new mutant merchandise marketing until Fox gives in to Disney. So far the only exception has been Wolverine and Deadpool Titans and Mashups. If we want more X-Men merch, then we cannot pay to see Fox movies. The sooner Fox tanks, the sooner they will sell to Disney, right? I have also been told that even smaller companies, like NECA, cannot make X-Men heroclix (classic or otherwise) during the ban. In the comics, Disney has been killing off the X-Men and all out cancelled the Fantastic Four.

I would be surprised if Disney allowed more X-Men Pops to be made any time soon when they are going to be windfalling during the next Star Wars era.

I realize that we won't get "movie" versions made, but since it's extremely recent that we've had unmasked Cyclops and black suit Storm, I don't think there is anything saying Funko can't do classic versions of X-Men in another wave or 2, or 3, which is exactly what I'd want, personally!

Heck, aside from who I listed in my first post, I'd love for a lot of X-Men, X-Force, Excalibur...the list is huge really and I'd buy every...single...one.

Psylocke, Weapon X Wolverine, Old Man Logan, Apocalypse, Jubliee, Cable, Domino, Cannonball, Stryfe, Cypher, X-23, Daken, Captain Britain, Dazzler, Lockheed, Wolfsbane, Longshot and so on and so on, I could list 100 more X-Men and their circle of mutants, haha.

Don't get me wrong- I prefer classic X-men!! 90's X-men is what got me into comics, cartoons, and even arcardes. I just dont understsnd the can or can't do regardless of liscensing. Look forward to seeing what's to come either way!

There is, next October actually. But Marvel don't allow products to be made of the Fox movies because they don't want to promote them, since Marvel still own the rights to making figures of the characters, despite not being able to have them in movies

I would love to have a Quicksilver Pop from DOFP (I'll say it, he was better than the MCU version), but that sounds like a pipe dream that will never happen.

I saw a pretty good custom version of that one on Etsy, but unfortunately being that I'm an in the box collector, I'm picky about the customs I purchase and this one didn't come with a box. Personally, I really liked the Avengers version. The DOFP one was great too, but I really liked the way they presented him in Ultron.

All I want is 90's Rogue & Gambit. Besides them I still need to get Cyclops send he is my first favorite X-Men. Don't like his look from today so will never get a figure of that verison only the 90's Cyclops.

I know they've done a few Storm, but I like the version they did for the Wacky Wobbler line. I believe it was Pryde of the X-Men Although "Wolverine and the X-Men" version is close. I think it would also be awesome if they did a mini pack with say Wolverine, cyclops/rogue/Gambit with a fallen sentinel (head maybe), like they did bases for the Marvel Legends Series.
