Master Chief Bobble Head Help?

Hi

I have this Halo Master Chief bobble head and I think it qualifies for a wacky wobbler? I'm not sure. In any case, the spring on Chief got a little...stretched. I was thinking about just buying a replacement but those cost $40. Which may not be lot for you fanatics but it's a lot to me. Especially when I only paid $10 at the time. Anyways, does anyone have a replacement spring? Or know where I could get one? I was hoping to put Chief on my dash when I get a car.

That's funko force, not wobbler.

Just try pushing down on the head for a while until it looks good

Try to twist it so that more of the springs are hooked onto the notched of the neck. Also, as Baxter suggested, try to squeeze down on it. It looks pretty badly stretched, so hopefully you can find a way to improve it. Good luck!

I actually had a similar issue with one of my Wobblers. I tried cutting it down, but didn't have the proper tools at home. I ended up just reducing the width of the spring with some pliers and twisting down. It's kinda hard to explain, but I actually wouldn't be against cutting it down as a last result. But that's just me.

Um...what do you mean by "reducing the width of the spring"? I held down the head for like, ten minutes. Sorry for not getting this.

So I took the spring off the head, too. That was a dumb idea wasn't it?

You shouldn't have to keep it contracted for any time. Just take the pliers, and put pressure to try and make the spring shorter. I'm not home, otherwise I'd post a pic. If you are still having issues, I'll post a picture when I get home. Your goal should be to make the rings on the sprint narrower so that you could twist the sprint back onto the neck. It looks like the spring can be twisted a little more onto the neck.

No, I don't think so. I live in Virginia Beach, VA. Halo junkie, you say? That's interesting. I thought there were only two kinds of Halo bobble head.

I couldn't figure out how to contract it. It's still stretched. I messaged Ross and he said he'll check to see if there's any spares. The spring is very stubborn.

Assuming that they're both the same, then yes. Just swap it out. But be careful not to pull too hard on the spring. You wouldn't want to screw it up!

So for those of you curious as to what happened to Chief, I waited 10 days for another FunKo Force bobble head to arrive.

Needless to say I was excited and went right to work. I first began taking my Leatherman (a multi tool) and started sawing poor Spidermans' head open and was soon greeted by an awfully familiar spring. The plastic was so soft, it was kinda sad. But I then realized that the guy super glued the spring. So, I began filling the head with acetone and let it sit for about five minutes. I was then able to pry off the spring without harming it. But I then noticed that the spring was too small for the peg on the body. Taking pliers, I slowly but surely widened the spring to fit it on the peg. He now bobbles once again! Thank you for all you guys' time and helpful suggestions. You made him happy again.

Yes, what happened to doomed little Spidermans' head was sad. But it had to be done. In the name of Halo. This is WolfSage signing off.

Nice to see Master Chief get fixed. I agree Spiderman had to be sacrificed in the name of Halo .
