I have one case already preordered and I may get another since there are so many minis in this set. But, I think we should definitely set up some kind of trading thread or use this one. I would have no problem helping out a fellow "Supernatural" fan/collector if it meant furthering their set.

I have a case on order from EE... if I can convince the wife to be methodical when she opens it, instead of just tearing into the case, I'll put together a case layout... the ones for GOT saved me so much guessing

I pre-ordered two cases from EE and will definitely post the layout for my boxes. I'd also be interested in a trading system. I'm dreading the inevitable ridiculous flipper prices of the Hot Topic Exclusives.

1/24 for the Scarecrow, Leviathan, and Slender Man? Shouldn't be too bad. From what I understand, Scarecrow and Slender weren't even big characters on the show, so hopefully they'll be even easier to get.

I have a case on pre from EE, and I now have no reservations about getting one from HT as well... as long as there are those willing to adopt my dupes! Speaking of, have you guys bought HT cases before? How much do they usually run?

Assuming they're running the BOGO 50% off sale, you're [presumably] looking at 6 boxes @ $8.50/ea, and 6 box @ $4.25/ea; that totals $76.50 before tax. If you have a $10 off $50, or 10/15% off coupon to stack on top of the BOGO, you'll be even better off.

In terms of actually buying the case, it's apparently hit-or-miss online. You can only buy individually in a quantity of 12, so you're not guaranteed to get an actual case. You could end up with a random assortment of loose figures and worse odds of getting rares.

You'll probably be better off asking at your local store when they're going to be arriving, then just take the whole thing to the register once they've put it out on the floor.

As for asking my HT about things, they tend to be pretty aloof about Funko questions. Most of them act like it is either way too much work for them to look anything up, or they have no idea what Funko is (even though there is a wall of their products in the store). Mine isnt the greatest or most reliable HT

Sounds like you'll just have to start stalk... I mean, visiting your store when people report that the cases are showing up and hope you get lucky.

Forgive my ignorance, I don't have a Hot Topic locally, well within a two hour drive. I do all my shopping from them online, unless I am on vacation. So that means the only way I can get a "case" would be to just simply put twelve in cart, which doesn't necessarily mean I would be getting a fresh case, right?

And, yeah I would absolutely like to setup some sort of trading system. Once we get our cases we could just post what we need and what doubles we got, if any, then try and help one another one.

I have seen cases for sale on the site before but I never paid them much attention (which is why idk about pricing). They seem to be few and far between though

. So yeah I guess your best bet is to order 12 and hope for the best

When I tried to buy a case of TWD S3 minis from HT, the cashier INSISTED that they needed to be rung in individually... so she completely threw them back into the box out of order (not that it mattered, it turns out they weren't the HT exclusive ones, good job I noticed before tearing into them!).

I have never ordered a case online but if you order 12 you will most likely be getting random ones. If your HT has a facebook or instagram then it's time to start to stalk. Then hopefully those who have ordered a case will be able to provide layouts so that you can try to look for ones you are missing.

I fully intend to get a case from Hot Topic when they come out. Hopefully it will still be during hot cash. I will post the layout once I get it and hopefully there will be some figures that vary in weight.

Ive seen HT cases up on ebay before. I dont know if the prices will be all that good but it may be another option for those that simply cannot get to a store and dont want to risk the 12 randoms online

That's a good point, we could always go the eBay route for Hot Topic cases.

Yes but none of them are the HT exclusives, so Im wondering if these are minis they just picked up at SDCC or something? Thats why I asked if anyone is CA has seen these at HT yet

He is The Vanir from season one, episode eleven. It is a slick looking Mystery Mini, but I have to admit I was surprised he was choose since he was only in one episode. Then again so was The Thinman.

Oh I love them as well. It really was a top notch episode. I am just surprised by that pick and The Thinman. Either way, I cannot wait for these!
