I wonder how accurate the store "in stock" is. I'll have to check my local Target after work.

It's completely inaccurate. I went to 4 targets that said in stock. I checked with sales people and their price check stations...nothing

Oh well. I can wait.

Yeah, I'm going to wait. It seems like it only arrived in Colorado and California. I'll give it a couple of days to come out east.

I had the same issue getting my friend an Unmasked Batman. I think they have a generic code for Funko Pops in general.

Not sure. I've heard HT the most, but I've also heard general release. It's definitely not SDCC though.

I believe target is inaccurate, the site says every one around me has it..I'm going on a calling spree tomorrow..just scored red daredevil from ht today.

Went to HT for Daredevil, walked in as the last one was being rung out. Called up 6, the nearest one was an hour away. Long story short, I still won, and I feel more accomplished on him than any Pop before!

I had my ht daredevil on hold till I could pick him up today..they told me his head was off center but I said that was fine..went in today to pick him up and the manager told me they got a new shipment so she damaged him out and saved me the only new one they got..our ht really looks out for the collectors!

Just FYI, I work at Target, hence my knowledge.

This is mostly correct. The Target-specific DCPI code is assigned to the assortment of Movie/"Pop" (pop culture) and Television pops the store has.

So, for example, we both sell Rocket Raccoon and Drax. However, they are both under the Funko Pop "pop" category, which means they have the same DPCI code. So no, Target's system is not faulty so much as it is at fault. Assorted things like action figures and POPs, etc are tough to find when a customer is looking for a specific model/figure/etc. It sucks.

I suggest calling, and giving the operator the DCPI for the pops, and then specify which one you're looking for (is Daredevil). And, hey, a description wouldn't hurt either.

It's going to be interesting going forward to see how many X-men and characters with movie rights owned by Fox get made. Disney has begun to throttle production of toys for Marvel characters that they don't directly control. Look at the rollout of products related to the Ant-Man movie compared to the new Fantastic Four (which admittedly looks a little mehh) or even when Days of Future Past came out.

That would make sense. If Marvel isn't doing anything to help Fox, I bet Fox owns some sort of licensing for products of their characters. Probably why there is no Hot Toys either of Quicksilver. But everyone else has one.

But at the same time, since they both own him, Funko should easily be able to make a SDCC version.

Visited my Hot Topic yesterday and still nothing. They had 1 Yellow Jacket Pop but the box was beat up. At least I know that Pops are starting to come in even if in small quantities. I'm hoping to get all of my missing recent Pops next week at Comic Con. Ugh that's a lot of Pops.

No Pop's for Marvel in the final SDCC Announcment, BUT...
