do they show upcoming stuff at SDCC or is it just about selling exclusives? like some of the pops shown at toy fair were only in catalog, will we see retail or prototype versions of those?

Absolutely nothing. I really don't understand the hype behind the game. To be fair, I've never played it but the characters look very 'standard' if you know what I mean

Gears is my favourite game series ever. It is the pinnacle of third person, cover based shooters in my opinion. Would buy every single variant made, Thrashball Cole Train anyone?

SDCC is mostly about sales, and Funko's SDCC exclusives are usually variants of figures they already make. Don't count on any new licenses being introduced. Sometimes Funko will introduce a totally new product, like they did with Pops and Blox. At Fun Days, Brian gives a spiel about what Funko will be doing for the next year, and will hint at what they'll be coming out with then... but no art work or designs.

I think it's crazy that they are making that flocked rocket a adcc exclusive. They have racks of these in my local comic store. I got mine from popcultcha months ago. So their "3000 run" claim is a lie.

Since 2012 I've been relying on Gemini to post SDCC exclusives up so that I can try and get a few. So glad that they do it. I really wish I could make it out there one year but it seems like something always comes up. Maybe I should start planning now for next year already so I have time.

Anyway, I'm really hoping for some Harry Potter variants.

But on a serious note, I would love to see some new stuff take the stage this year. Yes keep POPs, but change it up a bit. Maybe some more Minis like last year. Maybe some Vinyl Vixens, Dorbz, and Vinyl Sugar exclusives.
