It does look blue in some releases of the film, and Kenner probably used blue to distinguish him from other "Hoth" figures.

Gamestop always cuts off pre-orderes at a certain date before release. I felt like they were out there and being talked about a decent amount for months. Then again, i specifically search for Star Wars stuff.

Yep no pre-ordering here in our GS. I just stopped in today. Clerk guy could only suggest to come in or call after 11pm on the 4th. All their deliveries for the day are in by that time. On the plus side I scored a Harley Quinn with mallet, something I've been missing forever.

Yeah I find these kinda BS. I don't know about you guys but I didn't even know about these until this past week. No pre-order online? I would have been all over these day 1 if they were available for pre-order. Now I ask the store and they act like they don't know what I'm talking about. They tapped their keyboard a few times and just shrugged. Gamestop is a frickin plague. And they're getting FOUR pretty sweet Star Wars exclusives? Come on Funko...you're better than that.

I really wouldn't have an issue with Walgreens if my region had the Spiderman 2099. The rest I haven't had an issue finding. Punishers and Venoms as far as the eye can see.

And I don't have 7/11 down here so you're right about that.

As i posted before. The news that these were available for pre-order has been out on forums like this and facebook groups for a good long while. You just had to go in store and do it. The glams didn't show up until this week, but the news has been around a while. I'm not sure what you collect, but as Star Wars as my main line i collect, i make sure i know the news, and things aren't always shoved directly in your face for you to see when it comes to Pop! news. Just something to think about. They were there to be had, and all my Gamestop experiences with them have been great. They've also set up designated Pop! displays in all stores.

It's weird to me that people are complaining about this like it's even close to the Walgreens situation.

I dont really have an issue with gamestop. My local one has a friendly and helpful enough staff. No complaints. My brother works at one by him so he gets discounts. Also no complaints lol

. Id much rather 30 more gamestop exclusives to walgreens, 7/11, and all these little stores trying to compete. I dont even care for walmart exclusives because the two closest ones to me dont carry any pops at all >.<

Correct. The GS I went to actually asked around (for sales obv) if anyone was intrested in pops. I answered and he even went to print out all the merchandise coming out.

The thing is I asked two different GS about what Pop's they had I could preorder and they even printed me out different sheets with all the toys and collectibles on them you could preorder and all they had for Pop's was borderlands, Evolve and Dr.Who(That was about 2 months ago). The guy at the desk said to call the night before and the next day to see when they get their shipment in and he also said they should have a whole bunch in so I'm not worried actually. In the past my experience with GS is great mostly due to getting video games but they seem to be on the ball with Pop's now too. They called me when my 6 inch Evolve Pop came in and I have the Claptrap preorder also.

so you came in for Star Wars and they didn't have them in the system? When i went the first time, they had only Han, Figrin Dan and the R2. They didn't have hoth chewy in the system. A few weeks later more people reported putting him on pre-order, so i went in again, and they had him. I'm not sure why that is. This was right when it seemed like GS was getting into the collectables game. So it seems understandable their system wasn't quite 100% ready for it. They didn't even have Pops! back when i per-ordered.

Went in mine to find a surprise, a big picture hung up on the wall with the 4 exclusive Pops on it!
Asked about pre-ordering and they said that I could!

Went up to the desk to pre-order my Han, and they aren't even in the system, so I could not order him..
They told me to call back, so I'm goanna try a little later this week.

I asked 3 different employees at 3 different stores about these Star Wars exclusives, and each of them looked at me like they had no clue what I was talking about. And to be honest they were kinda rude about it too. But it's Gamestop so it's kind of expected according to all my past experiences with employees there. They looked them up on the computer and told me they weren't available for pre-order and that I just had to come in when they came out on the 4th. And I really hadn't heard about these until the pictures showed up, and I've been all over Pop news since January. As much as I could anyway. Gamestop just put them up on their site this past week.

As far as Walgreen's, yeah it sucked, but my city has about 40 Walgreens in a relatively small area. I just went hunting for the exclusives and was able to easily find all of them but the Spider-Man 2099, which I'm convinced my region never got in stock.

I don't know if anybody read the popvinyls.com article about these but apparently they are a one and done deal for production here in the US. They will be out on the 4th and once those sell out thats it. Also gamestop managers are saying they MIGHT even get them at all and that at most they will get 1-2 sets. They have been telling people don't be surprised if most locations just don't get them.....
