X-Men Wave 2 - How Can You Improve on Wave 1?

Hey all,

So with the praise and success that the new X-Men line got, it's almost inevitable that we get a second wave, but who could be in it? For starters, the characters would need to be somewhat popular to sell well, and the only one I can think of is Ice Man. With Ice Man, you could have the same effect you have with frozen Anna, with something similar to the repulsor beams that the new Iron Man has. That would be an awesome Pop.

But what other X-Men would be popular enough to be made? I feel like I'm missing some obvious ones here

Despite the lack of X-Men movie Pops, it just has to be the Vinnie Jones one, purely so I can have a walking internet meme in Pop form xD

There are so many more X-Men characters that are popular and will sell. Rogue, Emma Frost, Nightcrawler, Juggernaut, Sabertooth... and so many more.

Yep. All great choices. Gambit as well. A 6" Sentinel would be awesome too. I'm a fan of Mr. Sinister's look.

Jubbilee. She was a staple of the series along with Gambit and Rogue. A six inch Sentinel would be nice. I didn't watch the cartoon all that much but I remember those four. I don't remember Nightcrawler at all. My first exposure to him was the Evolution Cartoon.

Thanos was only 6'7
Juggernaut was 9'5
Darkseid was 8'9

Not really sure was thanos got a 6inch pop

One possibly fatal flaw with pops is their over size heads limit the ability to pose a pop with their hands on or near their head. Cyclops should have had his hand on his visor

Great list, but I'd swap out Cable for Ice Man and Jean Grey for Rogue. Then it would officially be a perfect X-Men Wave 2 line-up.

as big of a X-Men and Marvel in general fan as I am, I don't get the Pops because they're bobbleheads... but I would buy any Gambit ever made.

Shadowcat and Nightcrawler are my top two that I still need to see made. Finishing off the originals with Angle and Iceman would be nice, but I don't know how well Angel would sell. I personally would love to see Cable and Magik. I would also really like to see the originals done in their All New X-Men 2012 series uniforms, but I highly doubt that'll happen.

The next wave is likely to be dictated by the cast of the upcoming apocalypse movie, but other than that I'd love to see a Psylocke, phasing Kitty Pryde, and Cable. But nothing can beat the awesomeness that is... SugarMan!!!!

I kind of doubt that. Marvel isn't interested in promoting X-men for Fox. I think we're likely to see comic based characters, maybe drawing favorite characters from the old animated series since Disney does own that. That's not to say some won't be in the movie, it just won't drive any decisions.

What I have notes from the X-Men POP! that has been done they are all from the 90's cartoon and if I remember right. Nightcrawler and Iceman where hardly on the show. So they may not be part of it. It be cool if Morph was in the POP! series send he was a on again off again character on the show. As for others that was on there alot where.
