POP Exclusives that SHOULD have been the originals?

Just for fun, which POP exclusives did you think were a lot better than the originals?

for me it was:

HT Metallic Magneto, Magneto in the comics is kind of red and purple. The regular Magneto looks pink, where as the metallic is closer to the real colors.

Lootcrate Groot/Mossy Groot - Regular groot without the green looks almost like he's a factory defect that wasn't painted.

HT Tinkerbell - Anyone else think Tinkerbell being a Fairy and all should be glittery to begin with?

Agree with, Magneto. Had to pay double to get him to the UK

Groot, not so much. He's awesome as he is, and an extra mossy is coming anyways

Now onto my opinion. In a perfect world, the word 'exclusive' would be banned, but we dont live in a perfect world, so here we go

Everything New 52. I understand that they were small variants, but mass release would've been better. Even if they halved batches of their normal counterpart and put half New 52 I wouldn't have minded

Good one here. I think MOST people imagine Goku as black haired (HT) Goku. If anything Super Saiyun Goku should have been an exclusive/variant.

On a side note, Super Saiyan 3 Goku would be pretty cool as a variant, although they'd have a hell of a time getting that thing to stand straight.

Any HT exclusives are usually easier for me to find then the regulars. Lol. That HT Goku was one of MANY exclusives that were gathering dust for weeks/months at HT before they finally sold out.

I definitely agree on the New 52 POP!s. Those should have been mass releases. Is a motherf***ing Aquaman that I don't have to pay $100+ for really too much to ask for?

Totally agree on the Harley with mallet. It's one of my most wanted POP!s. The pop gun the regular comes with is one of her iconic weapons too, but the mallet is her TRADEMARK weapon, like Batman's batarang or Spider-Man's webs.

It'd be like Woman Woman with a shield and sword instead of her lasso.

I know they don't really have originals, but I'm not a big fan of original characters being limited exclusives. Reverse Flash is one, I think the glow version should have exclusive and the non-glow be a regular release as he such a big Flash villain. The same thing happened with Deathstroke, although he's not as hard to find

I don't know if Freddy counts, but the Apollo Freddy that looks all beat up should have been the 1/12 and the normal one should have been the larger edition size. It works out fine for me though, LOL.

That's my big issue with the Walgreens exclusives.

I also agree with what other posters had said about Magneto and the Transformers funkos.

This'll probably be an unpopular opinion, but I think the Un-Masked Star Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy should've been the regular and the masked should've been the exclusive. Since that line was based off of the movie and he hardly wears that mask.
