Looks like there's a lot of Futurama fans here

Among all the animated shows I have watched, Futurama is by far my favorite. Some of their episodes like Jurassic Bark had me teared up.

After wondering how they'd paint him and messing around with MS Paint(lol), I'm really hoping that Bender is one of the few pops with a mouth, he just looks better with one.

I've de-protoed the Fry Pop for fun, to give people an idea on what the finished product could look like.

If people like it I may do the same with Bender and Leela.

Here's Leela. Now I have the hang of de-protoing these images Leela went a lot smoother, and I think turned out a lot better.

I'm not too keen on the single eye, it may look better on the actual Pop though.

I'm not sure what name to call the shape of Leela's eye but it isn't perfectly round...
Also, I think it'd look better white as well.

Yeah thinking about it white could work better. Here's Bender to round it off. I took a bit of artistic license with this one, I gave him a mouth because it just didn't look right without one. I also gave his beer the same brand that they brewed together in an episode.

I may do more of these when we see new protos, IDK yet. I wanted to do Futurama because I love the franchise so much.

I'm just disappointed the 4th Pop for the first wave is Devil Robot. I rather have Zoidberg/Farnsworth/Hermes/Amy/Cubert take his place.

Wave 2, 3, 4, etc should be highly considered. There's just SO MANY characters and variants Funko can do with the Futurama franchise.

True, nothing is confirmed yet. I'm basing my assumption on the catalog pictures that were leaked earlier. 4 pops for the first wave is generally the average amount released from my experience. That said, I hope Funko surprise us with an additional 2 more Pops to the first wave.

I haven't heard anything about South Park, I know only Family Guy and Futurama were announced during the 12 days of Christmas. I figured the vinyl license for South Park was already taken (Kid Robot maybe?)
