Walgreen Exclusive?

Just wondering if anyone has plans like the MLP roundup, since we know what and (about) when they're coming out at Walgreens... Just an idea, I'd be down for a large amount of detroit area stores and am canadian (live on border city) so could help out the Canadians more on the list, and I don't mind shippig internationally if you want to pay the cost of it. I call around before going and am slowly learning which stores are more helpful and which carry Funko. I'm fine with at cost plus shipping and I would hope other funatics in different areas would be up for this as well (and maybe gas money if the search gets extensive ). If we plan a list beforehand, it might be easier to get more to Funko funatics instead of resellers.

Silvergould I would be up for that if others were (ultimately, including shipping, it would probably be the most cost effective way for me to own exclusives like these that aren't released my side of the water).

Likewise if the UK had anything you (or any other members needed/wanted) then I would put myself forward to try & help out other collectors.

well per Walgreens their return policy is 30 days from date of purchase, and can be returned to any location...so let us know how your experiment goes

I'm posting this here and the other thread...when the 711 exclusive carls were still around, and when groot was hard to find, the manager and an employees at one of the shops hoarded them and I believe ebayed them. I know they hoarded them because the employee kept asking me about value, and the last time I found two Carls the manager admitted to having held them in the back.

My point is, try not to go in there and ask every day. It's not Hot Topic or a comic shop where they might understand or even have store policy protecting us collectors. If the employees think they can hoard and sell them for extra cash they just might. I suggest browsing and buying nonchalantly.

Yes they will especially with things they know they can sell I saw one employee come in to one store by me walk to the back and grab a case of the proto fett exclusive and buy them and no one stopped her

I have probably 7, maybe 8 Walgreen stores in my area, all within 20 miles. I've checked a couple and haven't found anything yet. I did discover that the four stores I looked at do carry Pops so hopefully one of them will have them. I found an Iron Man from Iron Man 3 and grabbed it, then saw online it was going for like 30 bucks most places. They also had Iron Patriot. Should I get Iron Patriot? haha. I'll give a heads up on here if I see them in any of the stores around here, so far though I've heard everything from mid-month to late in the month to this Thursday, etc etc.

I thought someone posted that they were coming in a shipper? If they're loose on the shelf they don't dedicate much space for Pops, could end up only being one of each per store which would blow...

I really hope this isn't the case. I don't mind the nature of exclusives, but they should be easy to find for awhile at least. To make them exclusive to a chain, then limit the number available, but only for a limited time... well, pardon my French, but I'm too old for that s***. I don't need to make tracking down Pop figures a part time job
