Awesome Goodwill Find!

So I went to Goodwill after class to donate some stuff and while I was there decided to look around. Not only did I find a Sega Dreamcast for $8 (I hope it works!) but there were 2 pops there as well, Batman and Titan Eren!



It's not just Titan Eren but it's Hot Topic exclusive Eren! I have no idea if somebody donated this or for some reason Hot Topic gave Goodwill their overstock (highly unlikely) but it was only $3! The price sticker is over the HT sticker but this was the coolest find I've had at Goodwill in a while! This is the cheapest price I've ever paid for a pop! There's a slash on the top of the box and someone took a permanent marker to cross out the Rage Titan sticker on the bottom but other than that I'm happy.

When I worked at Goodwill, they would get items from Target that were overstocked or didn't sell. However, those were usually after they tried putting them on the clearance shelves.

The only thing I can think of is someone accidentally donating these with their regular donations.

Whatever the reason someone donated it it did it go to a good home. I left the batman for someone else.

I hope a few make it to toys for tots, not even just from this forum but in general. There's a good variety of licenses that kids will like and they're cheap.

I have a feeling someones mom didn't like it/found it satanic/violent or something dumb, and donated it. I knew a few people who had parents that would donate(and one who would burn) their stuff for those reasons.

Either way its a nice find.

Found another pop at the same GoodWill! I got Ghost Rider for $3, the paint is a little messed up on the pants but it has a perfect bobble head. Also there were 2 plastic inserts in the box, weird....



If someone has a pop collection they're slowly dwindling down thanks for donating it to the GW (what are the odds that they're reading this post, right?)! There was a Midtown Comics exclusive Red Son Superman, Nightwing and Daryl still there.

Wish I could find pops like yours at my goodwill. Only pop i ever found at one was a R2-D2. But I don't like star wars......

I once dropped an Admiral Ackbar Pop at my local GW equivalent (Salvos).. Just received it from Nerd Block I think? and was in the process of moving house at the time. Hopefully it's gone to a good home.
