Oh No!! (A Nodnik Lamps Post)

So, I recently realized that the 3 Star Wars "Nodnik" Lamps (Not counting the 501st Clone Trooper one) come in both a "regular" version and a "clock/mp3 player" version. I barely have enough room for 4 lamps, let alone 7!

I didn't even think about it until I was looking at my 501st lamp and realized it had the LCD display, but the Fett one on my desk did not... bit o Amazon/eBay research confirmed my fears. The path of an OCD'er is not an easy one...

The mp3 feature allows one to connect their player into the lamp with a jack - the lamp itself does not contain a player. It will play your music on the cheap speaker built into the lamp.

I had one then got rid of it - I had nothing connected to the jack outlet, yet the speaker constantly emitted a sound just loud enough to be annoying. Perhaps it was just The Force being with me.

As for OCD (which we all most likely have to one degree or another), there's some meds for that

Can't wait for the day when you realize you need all the white pop protos too......and then that you need a second color proto to create symmetry around the white one. or vice versa.

Only way white protos are happening is if a huge lot of them come available all at once. I can't go down the piece by piece proto path (alliteration!) again, too much work.

There's an Ironman clock, I love mine. I believe the Batman one is only lamp? Other than that there's star wars. I've seen pictures of a TMNT one but never seen one for sale.
