Now if we could only have a dedicated forum to question authenticity of items we'd be set.

Ask this in the new forum. lol

Limited run. Hand painted. Higher quality. Bigger.

Meant to expand the Funko brand into the vinyl collector market. Likely won't appeal the average Pop collector, who will find them to be too big and expensive and not cute enough.

Very early in the morning still waking up eyes half open, I found myself phonetically pronouncing this and thinking that is spelled wrong, before laughing out loud! Thanks, for the laugh Ron!

I mean I like the looks of some of the Hikaris out there but they just dont scream 80$ value for some glitter. They dont look that much bigger than most Pops, almost like they heated up a pop and stretched it to make it taller hahaha. Also if them being bigger makes them cost more then why does Stay Puft only cost around 20 and the batmobile 25 :P Just another way to try and get money it seems!

Not all of the Hikaris are in the $80 range. I've seen them as low as $36 and as high as $99.99 on reputable websites. It really just depends on the subject and how many were made. The basic figures are approximately 6 inches tall which is almost double the size of a Pop! The Premium figures can get as tall as 11 inches.

I honestly love the Hikari figures...even the lines that I don't care about, like TMNT. I think they look amazing. And the detail on the Groot figure is impressive. I absolutely love him and I've never even seen the movie! I am addicted and have been buying them religiously every Friday. It's like crack. :bounce:
