Cant wait for a target employee to look me in the eyes and tell me they lost a case of 10in pops.
OMG youre so right! We have an employee here that holds them in back until all the collectors leave. She knows us because she is in our local Funko FB Group. The minute we all leave, she goes in back and puts them out. I dont think she knows we're on to her, so we pretend to leave, go to our car and come back in 10 minutes later for the win! Haha! No joke.

Thats funny (and also sad) what is her point with holding them back form collectors? Some kind of twisted retail powers, at least if she was a flipper that would make sense (but still s***) the funko game has become so stressful, lately for any exclusive it just feels like you have to be "on it" You have to be glued to the computer, follow the right instagrams, be a part of a few facebook groups, be active on the forums, then be ready to be at stores at opening or ready to race over at a moments notice. For online drops you have to have that CC in hand and ready, dont go to the bathroom, let the kids be late to school, tell your boss youll be int he bathroom. There have even been a few commons that have been hard to get your hands on, it just feels lately this is every exclusive regardless of store its exhausting and stressful. I honestly dont know how the casual collector, or even the hard core colelctor with kids, a job, or a life do it. I only have one of those things and its a struggle

When I tried to find gravity falls chases, I had two with missing cases and one with an employee who straight told me he gets all the "cool" pops that come in. Killmonger I had a few just "nos" and a lot of empty shelves.
Yes, I honestly believe its a power trip. She is totally nice when you ask her about them, but she says "oh, we cant find them. They were on a different truck. We wont know for a few hours, when the trucks are unloaded. I think they sold out." And I swear, she is there stocking the whole time, Funko is her section. We stood there for hours a few times, then we say "thats it, Im going to a different location" and we leave and come right back in... there she is bringing the cart from the back with only those pops on it. Then she keeps them on the cart and waits for people to ask, and hands them one each. If there are any left when she has done her rounds, she puts them on the shelf.
