I'm sure they will have more. Popcultcha has them in stock but shipping is a bit much for just 1 pop from AU. Gemini and Fugitive both have been stocking hot topic exclusives as well.

Hot Topic Exclusive Bloody Brienne is available online on HT's site right now (search Funko Pop). Also, Viserion was available online about 3 hours ago as well (currently not available).

Urgh, they better not cancel another one of my orders due to being "out of stock".
It's almost like it's a luck of the draw, doesn't matter if you ordered it when it's in stock or not. They process the orders at the end of the day and if they run out of a product before they get to your order they'll simply cancel it.
I understand it, but they seriously need to update their systems to provide a more real time stock.

3 days ago they cancelled my order on her because they were supposedly out of stock. What a company.. seriously
The very fact that she's back in stock means they must have been very much aware that they were going to restock her, stock doesn't just magically show up in their warehouse. It too has to be ordered and shipped and all that.
Seriously not happy with HT right now.

Hot Topic may only be listing the exclusives a few cases at a time, to avoid flippers/resellers from buying out all of their stock. I personally appreciate it when companies do this (Gemini and Fugitive Toys also do this). It helps the actual collector get the pieces for the store price.

Not sure why they would cancel an order because an item was out of stock if more was coming, though.

Edit: Drogon, Joffrey and Battle-Ax Tyrion are also on the website now.

No it is not "Eye on the Web" . If it belonged there the mods would have moved it and if the original poster was not allowed to post In "Eye on the Web" and was breaking the rules then this would have been deleted. This was more of a conversation of what was bought from Hot Topic on line, etc....If the poster wanted to let the board know that there was an item available and it required a link than that would belong in "Eye on the Web". Hope you guys understand the difference.

Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't think about it that way. Yeah the resellers were the reason that I bought online to start with. Normally I go in store so I have box control, but I called the HT I normally go to yesterday and I guess they got 12 in and some guy bought all of them

You have to remember Hot Topic doesn't care who buys them as long as they are sold. No retailer or Funko cares who gets the merchandise as long as they sell it.

Glad I grabbed Brienne and Viserion yesterday afternoon when I saw them online! I might go to my nearby hot topic to grab another of Tyrion in battle armour, though. The one I got online at HBO has a scratch on his eye. :/

At least they are not cancelling Viserion like they did with Harley Quinn, which still makes no sense to me

Does HT do the "oops we don't really have that item you ordered in stock" thing often? I ordered 2 Briennes yesterday morning and 12 hours later got an email saying I wasn't really getting them. The wording of the email doesn't come right out and say it's canceled and the website lists the status of that order as "not picked" (whatever that means) but I'm not hopeful.

Am I better off not even bothering with the site and just looking in physical stores (though the closest one is an hour away) in the future?

I think it's a bit of a hit and miss thing with them. There seems to be no system to it.
When it comes to hot items (no pun intended) it seems to be pretty much a luck of the draw whether or not you'll get it.

So, a few things.

I received one of my orders from HT.
On the packing list it says above Harley Quinn with mallet "The following items have been backordered".
Does this mean they will still ship it out to me, or is it simply a fancy way of saying it's been cancelled?

Also, this is how they ship the items in case anyone was wondering.
Besides the fact that my mailman stuffed the bag in between my (very heavy) storm door and front door, 2 out of 3 boxes came out without any significant damage and 1 of the boxes was dented/crumbled slightly in a corner.

This is how the package was shipped. Kind of crazy, sending out rather flimsy and fragile cardboard boxes with collectibles in a plastic bag.



All the boxes were individually wrapped in a rather small amount of bubble wrap.



As you can see, the boxes were luckily in rather good condition.



Except for Beetle Juice, which was going to be a valentine present to my wife. I guess she'll just have to be happy with less then perfect :P


I'm kind of worried that I was lucky with this shipment and I'm seriously hoping that Brienne and Viserion, which are being shipped now, will not get any damage.
I'm not sure if I will order Pop!s from HT again, especially not considering you pay 5 dollars for shipping. At the very least they could put this kind of stuff in a cheap box.

I've ordered Pops from Hot Topic and they have always come in cardboard boxes with packing paper. I've only received t-shirts from them in plastic mailing bags.

WHOA!! That's some nutty packaging! I order from Hot Topic all the time and have never received my pops in anything other than a box! This had best not be some cost cutting measure they've recently adopted. I'm feeling sick.... Brienne & Viserion are on their way to me...if they show up like this I will have a mad fit!

I have received Pops in the same bag packaging, my Blackest Night Batman was basically crushed, but luckily I was able to trade it for a better box in the store because they had come back in stock. I'm still searching for Visirion, maybe I can check out another HT location over the weekend because I'm having no luck finding it online.

In regards to the Beetlejuice figure, I know the item is on clearance, and some of the damage could have occured from it being handled or by sitting in the warehouse for awhile. It would be odd that only one of the 3 figures were damaged.

But, yes it is odd they shipped in a bag. I've ordered pop!s as well as MLP Vinyls dozens of times, and it's always come in a box.

My personal experiences with ordering online has been always pleasant; I was lucky and they shipped me a bloody variant Daryl (poncho), and they usually have sales/discounts, whether it be free shipping (usually once a month, with $30 purchase), not to mention there "HotCash" promotions, which if you redeem online the promo code can be re-used multiple times as the code is not unique; Using in-store is one time use.

Theres also shopping portals which give you 8.5% cash back on your purchases (minus shipping/tax), which was definitely nice to get a few bucks shaved off...helps offset the shipping costs

I got my order on saturday. Ordered 5 pops so they came in a box. No bubblewrap but some of that heave packaging paper. Nothing was damaged. So far I have ordered from HT about 5-6 times and have yet to received a damaged package.

I just received the 2nd part of my order, Brienne and Viserion.
They came in a box and had the brown packing paper around them. No damage on these boses
Hopefully I was just very unlucky with that nasty plastic bag .

I bought four pops from hot topic that came two days ago. They came in a cardboard box with no paper, but there wasn't much damage (I'm an out of box collector anyway) but they fit in the entire base of the box, so there was probably little or no movement anyway
