Here is my Disney proto collection so far, pic was kinda crappy, but I wanted to get them all together, you can see how small Felix Jr is compared to the others.

Hey Eddie question for ya...If Boo is super rare to find but you have the proto, does that mean the proto is like extra hard to find? I would imagine that everyone and their mom wants their hands on that proto, no?

Many people prefer the regular pop over the proto, protos have a much smaller fan base.

Mike, I haven't seen a Funko force Spidey proto, I would love a pop one too, but I think he is pretty spendy.

I had one that got decapitated by the border people, I sold it to Sting for $20. Where it is now? No one knows.

The proto market is under valued in my opinion. They are very limited, less then the 1 of 12's that people pay hundreds of dollars for. That's simply because, making the cross to a proto collector, means a decent amount of $$$ in commitment. So most people just don't cross that bridge, when you do it's hard not to keep going. I LOVE Disney pop! protos but I know what kind of mountain I'm looking to climb, I wouldn't be happy with just the ones I like. I'd be after them all, in time and that's more money then I make. So I stick to my marvel protos.

Yeah there are just way too many Disney pieces to collect all the protos. Marvel has a decent amount to make the collection look awesome and still not be overwhelming. I really didn't want to collect the marvel protos and just stick to iron man, but I saw a deal I couldn't pass.

I was working my way to wobbler proto completeness, but sold out and switched to pop. The good thing is I'm currently marvel pop proto complete and have a nest egg started for the new wave of marvel pop protos.

I got that wolverine and captain america from Dave for ridiculously cheap. I dont know how no one else jumped on them.

I'm jealous you got your foot in the door on the new marvel protos. I need to save up some money for those and hopefully they aren't too overpriced and I have a chance to purchase them.

Bad news, that proto is gone, I emailed the seller before I launched a massive 4 person trade i was thinking about. Atleast that's what I was told, I'm from Canada, could've got the I don't want to bother with an international buyers offer.

Mike's Marvel proto are awesome looking for sure. But if you plan to do Disney protos. I suggest collecting a set of them, like Eddie has Monster's Inc and I think Bear is going after the Incredibles.

Either way, look forward to seeing what you pick for the first.
