Your display, the Funko way!

Postby Forte82 » Sun Apr 01, 2012 8:17 pm

I was kind of iffy about taking any of them out of the box to be honest with you, but the chase and exclusives have to stay in their boxes! I took them out once and then put them back in 5 mins later. I have OCD about my collection. I dust them every day!

So just a quick question why are they called chase editions?

I actually got my display cases from a person on Craigslist...but they do sell the exact same display case at Ikea, model is called Detolf display case. They are perfect for Funko Pops!!! You can add light switches on them also. Here is the link:

The ikea detolf cases are awesome. Inexpensive, easy to build, and hold a lot of stuff. Love them

As soon as I move into a bigger place I'm definitely going to adopt the whole sideways box thing for my display! Looks so awesome.

I can't wait to finish up my DC and Marvel collections... I have some plans for their display bwahhaha. Still need to get all of DC series 3 (there's a listing on eBay I've been watching for a while heh), Sinestro, Hal Jordan, Green Lantern and Flash. For Marvel I just need to get the new Avengers set! Then it'll just be finishing off the Uglydolls, the Wizard of Oz threesome, The Simpsons set anddd the Christmas guys (maybe.. dunno how badly I want them). I also think I'll end up getting Ozzy Osbourne... he'll be my sole music pop!

Then there's all the new ones coming out... Disney + Star Wars have me pretty excited. Those two series are taking over my very limited shelf space!

Nice to know there are other "dusters" out there. We should visit Bob's (Funkolicious) garage / workshop together with our dusters. He's got some big Finks who will soon be in need of some dusting ;-)

BTW, what's your duster of choice? (I can't believe I'm now chatting about dusting..... I've just GOT to get a life). #-o

OCD? Not even a question. I had a room in my house that was never walked in as a kid. I blame my mom for my issues.

I use a swifter duster and make sure I go over each one. It takes a good 20 mins. Issues!

I had that room too!!! It was carpeted and when me and my sister were little, we'd push each other in there when we fought. Then you would have to get the broom and try and sweep the carpet back to normal before mom saw.

I swore I wasn't gonna be like that when I got older but I'm a cleaning machine! My wife loves it but I know I drive her insane sometimes. Worst part is, is that I have 2 dogs and even tho they are short haired they still shed which means there is always something to clean and febreeze!

For me, I've strayed away from mom, the whole thing just annoyed me. I don't live dirty but unlike my mom, I don't feel the need to come home from work everyday and do my 3 hour top to bottom clean the house routine.
