Lets not forget, they confirmed Loki rerelease a month ago then a couple days later said....oops mybad not true lol

Also, we all know if this is the case and gemini and ee and others get some, they won't be $9.95, I wouldnt be amazed if they priced them for what they are going for on ebay, I mean even gemini priced his own exclusive higher then what they were selling for on ebay. Anyways good luck if true

Depending on how limited it is, I can see that happening. But he was raising his prices on his own EXCLUSIVE that was limited to what? 240? I'd assume the release number would be much higher if it is being released to multiple vendors. I will be holding off any search of Loki to see how this pans out.

I still think this kinda ruins the whole lure of a random "limited" regular piece here and there. I like the fact that a regular pop was limited, and could happen again. Ah well...

I don't really care for "limited" regulars. I didn't really like that idea anyways. There are variants, those are what people should be spending $50-$100 for, not a regular piece. The numbers of Loki are probably far greater than the 480s or 240s out there and are selling for 2-5 times the price.

Wonder how many people are going to be kicking themselves for buying their loki at around $100. The flippers are going to have a field day with this one. Lol
But I think it should be fair the vendors should sell them at the price they originally sold for at the beginning.

I am pretty sure there will be a LOT of Loki's listed over the next couple weeks. Flippers trying to get rid of what they bought. I don't think that $150 is going to last. I'm glad I waited, hopefully I can get a hold of one for cheap.

LOL well that will be awesome. There would be no reason to expect to spend the eBay market price with that number released. The market will be flooded of regulars once more!

Hopefully yes, but 3,000 does sound a lot especially being split up between just two vendors. Then again, I think the guy that mentioned it, my guess works for Funko, but I could be wrong. Either way good news for everybody looking for him!

I think 3k sounds high too. They stated very limited and also told someone good luck. If there were that many I don't think they'd need any luck to find one.

Thor, Han Solo, Penguin, Loki and Riddler? So every Pop they announced as retired is being sent out to retailers. It just kinda ruins any hot pop from here on out, I mean if lets say "john lennon" is tough to find, do we pay $20, 30, 40+ or just sit back and wait for it at $9.99. I don't collect as an investment but its still nice to know that some are harder to find then others...

I don't recall Funko ever saying that those items were retired. I think it was natural board speculation that they were because they were not in the new Funko catalog. I know that sites like Kirin Hobby said that Loki was discontinued. OK maybe more than board speculation, but the fact that online retailers are telling us that we're out of luck.

Put in my ore order! I just got email confirmation from Gemini to put in order in 10 mins. Set to arrive 4/25. Get your orders in now. I even called EE and spoke to a rep said that they had a few orders already placed. So I put in an order from them too just in case. Don't worry I didn't buy a lot. Just 1 from each source just in case.

The 3000 I read, came from the Facebook "funko pop! Vinyl figure fan page". Scroll to the conversation "@Jimmy Howlett". The comment also mentioned about the other harder to fine pops. But yeah, 3000 sounds a lot.

Funko had said previously on their facebook page that Greedo and Han Solo had been retired, as well as the movie versions of Thor and Loki.

I thought that as well, and I remember Bo saying Riddler/Penguin were retired.

Retired means they aren't making more of them but that doesn't mean they don't have some left laying around at the company from the initial runs! I think that is the case with these but I could be way off base too. Lol.
