Congrats Betty!! That Betty Boop proto brings back many memories! I won it from the "Funko Band" and was the only one who could come up with the actual name of the guy who sang the original "Mary Tyler Moore Show" theme song...............good times!
Enjoy her!

Love that cream colored plastic of those prototypes. It reminds me of 1950's rubbery Marx toys. Ooh, yeah.

Re: 70's Betty Pic
Cathy has one and posted a picture of it in the Wobbler Dance a while back, I believe. Definitely a want, Betty, just like this one. The one that drives me crazy, though, is that I have never seen a Boop Singer proto show up...anywhere. I hate to say I need anything, but after helping get it made, I would definitely like to have the proto someday.
Meanwhile, it is nice to see new Boops coming out. 3 this year!

Re: 70's Betty Pic
I just made the suggestion and Photoshopped a mock-up, and after a year, BOOM, Brian surprised me by saying that they were going to make her! I was lucky like that with the "Green Eggs & Ham" Sam the Pig Spastik, too.
Brian & Funko are the best, but we already knew that!

Craig, I have never seen Goldenberg Peanut Chews here in Iowa. What makes them so special?

Original Goldenberg Peanut Chews - now a product of Peeps and Co. They are little bars of tasty heaven. Peanut chunks in a chewy caramel concoction of sweetness covered in a coating of tasty dark chocolate. Not available in most stores anymore, so I must order directly from Peeps. Finished up a 3 pound bag of the little buggers a few weeks ago, but will resist reordering for a few more weeks. For some reason, they don't last very long here.

Re: 70's Betty Pic
Hey Jim, when is the 70's Betty expected? Also, are you planning on getting anymore Route 66 Betties? Originally I had hoped to order the latter when the former arrived, but if I missed the boat, well, that's my fault.
