House of the Dragon Pops!

Really glad we're going to be getting more dragons. They're actually my favorite part of the show.

In the span of a few weeks, Funko announced 7 new HoTD Pops! Some repeat characters in new outfits (Daemon x2, Rhaenyra, Alicent), and some new characters (Vermax, Mysaria, Alys).

Personally, I’m all for new characters being made — Mysaria and Vermax (wish it was a regular size Pop to match the other dragons .. or that they had made all the dragons larger to begin with) are my favorites. But strange that Funko’s made this many HoTD Pops but we’re still waiting on an Aegon and Helaena (and a standalone Rhaenys).

I think the Alicent and armored Daemon look unique, but if they wanna keep making the same characters I really wish Funko would release a standalone Rhaenyra wearing her crown What does everyone else think?

Definitely agree that the Dragons should be 6" ones. You're definitely right about Rhaenyra needing a standalone crown version. I feel like Funko doesn't wanna make too many secondary characters in pop form like they did with GoT because they overproduced on some but I think they could venture out and make a few more other characters like you had mentioned and be okay. Also I welcome any more pops of the characters if they come in dragon armor like Daemon, they come out great!

The wait for Aegon has ended!…sort of? Last week Tom Glynn-Carney himself appeared in a video on Funko’s social media to unveil a new HoTD Pop Ride — Aegon Targaryen with Sunfyre.




It’s a good-looking Pop! Personally, I collect the standard 4-inch Pops, not the Rides, so I’m still hoping for a standalone Aegon. I also wish they made Queen Rhaenyra and Rhaenys as standalone Pops instead of only releasing them as Pop Rides, but I’m still hoping those will come in time

Funko Shop exclusive Seasmoke is available now!

Unlike the Vermax, this one appears to match the 4” size of the original dragons (Syrax, Caraxes, and Vhagar) that Funko released. I think they should’ve all been 6” to begin with, but since they started with 4”, I do appreciate the consistency with Seasmoke!

I know they’ve thought of it but honestly the dragons should be their own wave. Like the NSYNC, bsb, and other band album sets they released they should’ve done but with the dragons.

Game of thrones they got right when they released the 3 pack.
