Funko sdcc hard stacks???

Does anyone know if funko will continue the 4 inch hard stacks on all con pops bought at the booth? They haven’t been very clear about it… messaged on insta tik tok email and commented on posts no responses yet. Maybe someone here knows…

Yeah I’m not a big fan of hard stacks for that reason too. Either soft protectors or Armors for me

Just got confirmation from funko only piece count sdcc pops will have hard stacks

Since many hard stacks have that bubble on the bottom I will take them out anyway and put them in armors. I put my others already with some box damage in the stacks.

Fingers crossed they do but I normally carry at least 2 with me when I go. I like to be safe and not worry about my box getting damaged while walking about.

I always carry a couple of hard stacks with me to cons just in case! And the very least 2-3 soft protectors. You never know when you get a free pop at an offsite! It happened to me at BoxLunch truck a couple years ago at SDCC!

I ended up using the hard stacks with the button on the bottom to display protos with the insert.

I got some hard protectors at a nearby booth last year because I didn't bring any and man they were expensive. Still time to go on Amazon if you've got Prime. I'll be bringing as many as I can if I get an entry.

Hahaha yeah I only have a hand full of those I have a lot of the OG hardstacks, do all the new hardstacks in the funko shop come with that bottom button/bubble? Reason I am asking because I have not bought one in years I have a lot of the old ones without that issue on the bottom if I do I usually flip them over so when they sit they will sit on opposite side bubble/button won hit the top of the pop. I have my collection mostly in hardstacks and pop shields armors at one point I almost had all my pops in those pop shield armors they called me a mad man for having a 5 dollar pop In a hardstack or pop shield armor. I hate soft protectors I mean I’ll still use them but i prefer hardstacks/pop shields armors. At a con they come in handy, I can’t put them all in a hardstack after leaving the funko booth I done that once bag was so heavy

Wow. an entire collection in hardstacks? That's actually pretty awesome - I would love to do that but agree - can't imagine the weight! Unfortunately, all of the hardstacks have that button still. They've tried to grind it down a little but it's still there.

Yeah man hardstacks then moved to pop shield armors haha, hot cash from hot topic came in clutch for those hardstacks back in the day I would get some with the discounts made it easier then paying full price or if I see some for cheap I would snipe. Damn hope funko changes that little bubble/button on the bottom I won’t be buying those anytime soon. The new rewards pops come with the button/bubble in the bottom too right? I can’t remember from my Genya one I think it did

Yeah they all have that button, but it looks like it's small enough now where damage seems infrequent. I still hate it though
