Yeah I am hopping they shift to more interactive booths and different themes for different Cons.
Seems like they are trying to save and reuse convention displays by having a yearly theme.
Feel like a lot of us diehard fans were following them at various conventions so mixing it up made it more fun for us all.

Really do hope Fundays comes back. Treat it like the oscars and have a new celebrity host it ;)

I loved the change in themes but understood why they did the yearly themes. They seem super focused on boosting profits unfortunately so I dont see many things like the old days happening again. The rotating Fundays host idea would be sweet if they actually continue hosting it (assuming they dont change to strictly influencer events)

And with these looming tariffs that may affect prices of imported pops, that might eat into Funko's budget even more for a consideration of no Fundays this year!

With the announcement of the rarity tiers, would love to get your opinion on it. I second the horror box and quality glow Pops as well!

chester wrote:Is there any changes you would like to see FUNKO do in the upcoming year.

I would love to see some super limited POP's.
I would love to see some more all glow POP's
I hope they go back to individual themed events. The airplane idea was kinda boring.
I would like them to make the horror box again.

Thank you for unintentionally reminding me about the NYCC bittys I've been missing. Hopefully a change they make is slowing down on mass production so I dont forget about things like this

At one point I had a Notes tab on my phone specifically for my ISO collection but I always lose track and forget to add more onto it. At this point I think I need a full blown excel sheet for my collection and iso

Lmao funny enough I had my gurl did that for me last year with an inventor list on gooogle docs so it’s not a bad idea. Hell make it a discord so others can contribute to it and add some quality input. Might use this idea

Ok, you guys are pros! I trust myself to remember (I don't even keep a calendar in my general life) and it I don't then it wasn't as important as I thought. I also just figure if I am meant to have it, I'll find it. LOL

Not sure if anybody saw the news circulating today or noticed, but the Soda category no longer shows on Funko's website. There appears to be some sodas still on clearance, but it's sad to see the end of an era. I enjoyed the line - it's sad to see it end.

From a cost standpoint, I could see that maybe the packaging played a part in discontinuing the line? Maybe "blind box" figures within aluminum was perhaps too costly to mass produce over just placing vinyl within cardboard - I'm just speculating here. I liked the idea of being able to keep the can and display the figure.

Excellent point but why not just raise the prices? Funko is already raising the price on the actual pop. So what difference does it make? :dontknow:

Maybe too many lines? A focus on going back to their main line sellers like Pops, Bitty Pop (new), Mystery mini items and using Loungefly for their other side of the business for things such as pins and accessories? Again, just speculation, but it all looks to be a focus on getting back to basics and focusing on select few product lines.

I agree. The nonflag ship lines seem to have been losing steam the last couple years and might not be worth it to funko anymore to carry. Do we think the Bitty Pop line is going to face the same fate? I feel they won't ever catch the popularity of the main Pop line.

Bummer that Fundays is no longer at SDCC. With the competition though, I can definitely see the reasoning behind it. Very interested to see how the FunkoHQ event is going to go. Especially since it’s over three days. I wonder if it’ll be a similar format to the Hollywood opening they had years ago with time slots.

Yeah I’m hopeful that they still have one so I have a shot again of going! Last year was awesome!

fundays has honestly the most unique energy in the entire convention. absolutely electric. we gotta have it come back!!

Hollywood making me nervous and excited at the same time. Curious how this structure is going to take place. 3 days.

Hoping for an organized chaotic event :bounce:

I believe it will definitely be more of the kind same, with mani games and scavenger hunts - and BoF at the end. They could again use the lot in front for some mini games as well.

Hopeful for the same. I feel that a lot of the event staff have transitioned elsewhere but seems like the staffing for Hollywood have experience managing crowds. All the signings and other events have really helped.
I'm excited and hopeful that it will be worth the trip.
