Retro/Classic Characters

Postby Jezter » Tue Feb 11, 2025 7:57 am

Just sitting here thinking, now that we have pops like Charlie Chaplin and those from The Twilight Zone, it would be fantastic to get some more pops from before the 80s.

Just random ideas here, some I'd buy, some I think others would.

The Three Stooges- Technically 6 total, but would love at least Moe, Larry and Curly, but wouldn't object to Shemp, Curly Joe and Joe Besser
Abbott and Costello
Laurel and Hardy
Now that we have Sinatra, would be great to get Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr
Benny Hill
Bach
Beethoven
Mozart
B.B. King
Ray Charles
The Monkees
Chuck Berry

Many many more really, I'm kind of all over the place, ha.

Would really love The Three Stooges over all the others though....maybe someday.

This is early 90s, but I always wanted Mighty Max pops. Not sure anyone else even watched that cartoon, but I loved it as a kid.

I love the idea of the 3-6 Stooges, BB King and Mighty Mouse. Last but not least Laverne & Shirley with Lenny and squiggly.

Adding a few from the 80s which were 40 freaking years ago, ugh.

Mork from Mork and Mindy(technically 78)
The Greatest American Hero
Airwolf pop ride
Sam and Al from Quantum Leap
The Fall Guy pop ride

Still bummed I never got the Knight Rider pop ride, huge regret that I kept passing on it planning to eventually get it and then..it was gone. :(

Threes company should be a four pack, you have to include larry.

We already have Universal Monster pops that look basically the same, so I'm fine if we didn't get more, but would love to take pics of them with Abbott and Costello for sure!

For me it wasn’t so much the moving but small toys like that and Legos I would constantly loose. Scattered all over the place. Hence why I never got back into Legos. [-(

I think it would be cool to see LEGO figures (think classic LEGOs) in Pop! form. Maybe not a ton but perhaps 1 or 2 would be new, unique and cool.

Just the classic yellow person would be very cool and iconic. Although blowing up that head (which is already strangely shaped) might not translate.

It’d be interesting if it was buildable the way legos are meant to be. But I understand if they weren’t
