I need a Spawn POP but something tells me it won't happen because Todd McFarlane runs McFarlane toys methinks. One can dream though!

Considering that a new Movie is being made, I think this is in the realm of possibility. Also Todd deals with licenses from other franchises all the time. I can completely see Funko doing business with Todd at some point. Also the original spawn was back when? 1999 or something like that? I wonder if McFarlane or a different licensor owns the rights to that specific film.

Could be a different licensor for the old film, I'm not sure but something about that sounds right.

Yep, I don’t think that Todd would be the owner of the rights from the old live action film & tbh I would actually prefer that version for the first spawn pop if that’s all I can get

if Mcfarland would allow it, this would be an amazing POP. There are so many variants that can be done which would all be perfect, especially GITD or Blacklight. I think the basic red and black color would be just as perfect too.

Worth noting regarding potential licensing issues. I'm gonna guess Mcfarland may also be "anti-cute" when it comes to spawn products, it's quite possible he just does not want Spawn made in any iteration that is seen as cute/chibi/kawaii/etc.....

I feel like Spawn pops are long overdue. Todd McFarlane keeps Spawn going with action figures too.Im sure some sort of partnership could be made.Maybe even a signing in Funko Hollywood? There are many possibilities if Spawn pops could be made!

Yeah this won’t happen as Todd is very protective of his character (spawn) and since he has his own toy line I don’t think he would need to go down this route.

So much potential with a Spawn Funko lineup that I wouldn't even know where to begin. But I have a feeling that what the hardcore fans of Spawn would want are probably a bit too dark for the Pop! or other product lineups.

This is a solid list! I would take multiples of each! Imagine the chase variants you could do like a metallic witchblade, unmasked spawn or darkness with demons!
