One of the main reasons it seems is that people cant afford a lot of soda's. Speaking from a international view they cost $30+ down here because of the shipping weight ect make them very unaffordable.

Another reason people think and i think could be a strong contender is because bitty's are outselling them. There cheaper, ezyer to display and also strike the minature market.

If this ends up being true how does it make you feel?

I wish they would keep on doing sodas I thought Funko was doing well with them just the high Le ones, no Le, and international were hurting them. Hopefully they still do the lower Le ones like they started with.

With the cost of living rise and everything i think sales were being effected state side to. I know down here it costs $30 for a basic one so its priced itself out of the easy collector markett.

Around me it’s $15-18 just sucks that even with these price increases they make very high Le’s that don’t completely sell.

I love sodas, maybe they should switch to a different material can if that’s a major cost.

Yeah the sodas don't seem nearly as popular. There some cool ones, I was pleasantly surprised to see a Dr. Fate and Plastic Man soda.... plus the Chase for the Shazam / Marvel family was clever with Billy, Mary etc in kid form... more than the standard GITD/Repaint/flocking chases. That said I agree with all the criticisms. I rarely buy them now and stick to the main pops line.

I love the idea of Sodas and the thrill of the hunt, but at the end of the day I find it hard to display them properly. I only keep a few around my desk but the cans and the pog all get put in bins and boxes.

I’m indifferent either way. I do like Sodas but I don’t really collect them. I just have a few that I got from Fundays and a couple I bought. I feel Funko should cut back on most of their products. I’d like a more quality over quantity view from them

I think they had the right idea with them, like making a set number of chases and each of them being distinct from the regular version. But the production quantity was too high (12K for most common Sodas) and the pricing was too high in comparison to pops sadly.

I think the main issue with the price point was that the packaging was "aluminum" that mimicked that soda can feel which was super cool and authentic but unfortunately caused them to have to charge more to cover the cost of it vs traditional paper boxes.

Definitely seeing fewer on the shelves. I wasn't a fan of the Walmart and Target unlimited sodas without chases. But there are still a few I'd like to see made before they stop the line.
