I used to say a Matt Groening Mystery Mini set would be amazing (Futurama, Simpsons, Disenchantment) would be incredible but I'd settle for a Matt G. NFT set. That deff be pretty sweet

There’s already a Freddy as bender! They should do a Freddy as zoidberg, that would be nuts

I like the idea of more side characters, but we're still missing several main characters (Kif, Hermes, Amy and I wouldn't say he's a main character but Scruffy too). That's why it is a bit of a headscratcher to me that all of the new ones so far have all been for characters that have already been released. And at some point, I bet they do a Leela in the Planet Express ship (similar to Marvin the Martian in his space ship a few years back).

I have also never understood this either, for other IP's as well, just some of the main characters seem to have multiple variants, Im wondering if they just want to concentrate on "bigger" characters or more "famous" characters?

I think it it's likely because they need to ensure that the line of pop sells out. Its likely that some of the side characters don't have a dedicated fandom to ensure a sell out and Funko probably doesnt want to be stuck with excess inventory of characters they can't sell (as awesome as characters like Kif, Hermes, and Amy are).

I agree, I just think based off of what we are seeing a lot of pops ending up in discount stores at a fraction of the price from big retailers and funko's website as well, maybe this strategy is not working as well? Id much prefer they do less of the same character and do some of the side characters or run very limited versions of each at least. Maybe then they would sell out more?

Yah, I would love to see more side characters too but I think it is a delicate balance between figuring out the right quantity to produce while maximizing their revenues. It's the million-dollar question for most retailers to be not be overstocked on shelves but also not have enough ](*,)

It just seems to me that funko could do some kind of mass email or social media, or website survey of some kind to figure out what IP has certain characters that are popular or maybe not popularity but which characters definitely have some more connection with fans maybe, although realistically who knows to be honest.

In theory, that would be a good idea but I think the implementation and management of getting all that feedback would be a challenge. Also people are likely to say that they are interested in a certain character but then not likely end up purchasing it so it would be hard to factor in "intent to purchase" vs "actually purchasing" after the release making one tricky situation : /

I know its mostly wishful thinking, I just wish there was more thought put into what characters get made, the Simpsons line I think is one that i notice is getting better because they are now introducing so many characters from the show, i don't know sales wise how they are doing, but seeing more characters being produced is something i wish other IPS would get. Again not knowing the licensing parameters of contracts or other agreements, i definitely think Futurama would be another amazing line that would benefit from more characters i think

Yah I definitely think Simpsons is the gold standard for them making desirable pops of secondary characters so hopefully they use the magic for Futurama and other animated series :)

More please, yes! I hope they make the entire lineup. If the Simpsons are proof that folks will buy an entire large cartoon series, then that's all the evidence you need to move forward.

These are really some of the best pops to collect but honestly the older ones are better to bad I missed out on golden bender back then wasn't old enough to understand how they worked lol. But wouldn't mind getting it in the future
