I was lucky enough to win Social Media Freddy 3.0 during the St. Patrick's day Photo-a-day Challenge
sadly they seem to have stopped the challenges for a bit (again) odds are they might be holding on to them for SDCC and Fundays

Im not even sure how the Social Media Freddys are rewarded, I miss the old contest and Social media interaction with Funatics.

I won the social media Freddy through a giveaway on Funko’s Instagram. Funko or Funko Anime would occasionally do a giveaway in their stories. I participated in the NBA Gameday this or that giveaway. You had to complete a form then post in your story and tag Funko.

I prefer the new contests/giveaways and it seems to be truly random. I couldn’t win for the life of me. I felt there was some favoritism by the previous social media team.

What I'd like to see for the 3.0 version is maybe a version that can be customized (using the Pop! yourself) with a YouTube or streaming setup. Think about how many influencers (pick whatever social media you want), would jump at the opportunity to create themselves in this form. To kick it off, release a Freddy Funko version (and you could even do a version that has limited numbers for a cause). Then make the bodies available for the Pop! yourself option.

That's a good idea. Would be cool if they let you customize text on a shirt or sign the pop is holding.

It looks like some more 3.0 were given out for IG pics Funko selected and posted on their account during Christmas holiday. Not too many seem to be given out still.

I think if you share stuff from your collection with #RuleTheNerddom on Twitter and Instagram they pick a couple people every month, the prize MIGHT be a SMF 3.0

Totally forgot there was a new SM Freddy. I’ve seen a little bit of activity on SM from the Funko team, but I’m hoping to see more involving prizes and interacting with fans.
