Huckleberry Hound (Almost) Complete Again (111 Hucks)

UPDATE: 6 DECEMBER 2025: I am one shy of being Huck complete. The metallic blue LE 100 Huck will have to wait until the prices drop considerably. May be a long wait--but I'm paitent. The pictures are below; one of the 6 Hucks and one that shows where they hang out. [In case you're interested, the new display case is from Michael's; it's smaller than the baseball bat case the other Hucks are in (28 vs. 39 inches), plus the new case has an LED light strip along the top (unfortunately is has a manual switch on the side so not useful where I have it; a remote would have been awesome).]

8 APRIL 2024: I am, again, Huck complete! I can't believe it's been almost 3 years since my original post At least, now, the task is done. Until of course Funko decides to make another Huck. Maybe with Brian gone the Huck train will slow down.

No way I was going to take all the Hucks down, again, for a group shot. That first shot took forever to set up (30 May 2021). When I started collecting, I never in my wildest dreams expected to complete even the Wobbler Hucks, let alone, across all the lines.

This is just the production pieces, so no one-offs or protos (though I do have some protos). I also don't have the Huck plushie--I'm just not a plushie kind of guy--so, just vinyl. Well, one polystone (crystal), as well.

For my collecting purposes, if another character is holding a tiny Huck, it's a Huck. Here's how the 111 Hucks break out by line:

1 Funkovision (this Huck is actually a Huck Wobbler placed inside a vinyl TV, but I still count it as separate)

I'm working on updating my collection post, but thought I'd share what, as of 30 May 2021, a complete Funko vinyl Huckleberry Hound collection looks like. To be honest, when I started collecting, I never in my wildest dreams expected to complete even the Wobbler Hucks, let alone, across all the lines.

This is just the production pieces, so no one-offs or protos (though I do have some protos). I also don't have the Huck plushie--I'm just not a plushie kind of guy--so, just vinyl. Well, one polystone (crystal), as well.

It was hard to get all 94 Hucks in one picture, not to mention time consuming. Here's the breakout by line:

Thanks Renard. Yes, I saw the announcement. And I posted in your PoP! thread. Very excited. Though he's killing me with different versions for different books. I plan on getting the hardcover book - cuz I love HB and this book is going to be spectacular - but I'm not too interested in getting the regular book; just don't need two books. I'll have to get the LE5000 Huck on the secondary market if I can find someone selling just the Huck and not the book with it. OR, I may just have to bite the bullet and buy both books since it's probably not likely that someone will sell the Huck individually. It would take a rare HB collector who doesn't like the Huck PoP - and that person can't possibly exist.

Funko has released 6 new Hucks since I took my Huck Collection photo (counting the two HB Around the World Hucks). I've already gotten two of them - the 2 black-light Soda Hucks. Just have to track down an NFT Huck when they're released next year, the Brian Mariotti Soda (cuz he's holding a Huck ), and the two HB Around the World Hucks.

Patience is the first piece of advice. It can take a long time--sometimes years--for a piece to come around, let alone at a price you can swallow. Since I posted that picture, Funko has produced a few more Hucks which I now have to hunt down. I was able to snag two of them at reasonable prices, but I'm guessing I'll have to wait another year or so to have all of them--by which time Brian will have created more--and the ride goes round and round.

If you're really serious about hunting them down, it takes work, as well. Participating in boards/forums/facebook groups. Getting to know other collectors and networking pays huge dividends. Constant lurking in ebay.

Depending on which wobblers you're talking about, yes, over $1k is in the right ballpark. Certainly for the LE3s, and several of the banks. For the LE12s? I haven't looked at those in a long time since i have them all, but wouldn't be surprised to see them listed for that. Of course, like with any piece, it's only worth what a buyer is willing to pay.
