The detail on the head is amazing, but the body is kinda lacking... I mean, Venom isn't SUPER detailed as it is on his body but it definitely makes for a plain sculpt like this.

The body is just not dynamic at all, doesn't have the traditional big bulky presence that is Venom. While that style fits Dorbz just fine it is falling flat here.

What's the price point usually on these 2-packs...cause I also saw there is a purple and black 2 pack coming as well in one of those leaked pics

Agree 100%! The sculpt for this figure looks like a Dorbz that was sent to the reject pile. It doesn't have the stumpy but detailed bodies of some other Hikaris.

Both the Joker and Batman ones look great, so it's a bummer to see the lack of detail on this.

I concur. The ball was dropped hard. I'm a huge Spider-Man fan and looked forward to the Mini Hikari line for Marvel. Hopefully, Spider-Man will turn out good when it comes.

I concur. The ball was dropped hard. I'm a huge Spider-Man fan and looked forward to the Mini Hikari line for Marvel. Hopefully, Spider-Man will turn out good when it comes.

I'm also hoping for some great sculpts for Spidey, iron man and hopefully The Hulk.

I saw one of the iron man mini hikaris. Not quite as good .

The coloring is nice but I'm going to have to agree with the above comments and say that they look a little... underwhelming. But I may still get my hands on one of these! The mini Hikari line is one of my faves!

The contrast with the white/light purple is nice, better than the monotone red version.

If you want to buy them before the ETA all the pre-orders state, you go to the FUnko HQ store. I just saw on their live stream that they have the Venom Black and Purple 2-pack in stock. I found the Black and White Joker at the HQ back around Thanksgiving. I wish I lived closer to get some great stuff before the retailers start selling them.

Im 100% sure these bodies are dorbz style due to licensing agreements. Just how funko can make pops without bobble for dc not marvel. And then they can make action figures for dc not marvel. They cant compete with their toy line so they prob cant give them legs like the other hikari xs’s.

I like these a lot and ordered the white/red 2 pack from HT (picking up later this week). I really like the black and purple versions as well. Interesting that they didn't use the white for the eyes and teeth on the red one. That would have looked a lot better if it was like the black and purple versions.

Still a fan though. The detail in the head makes it easy to ignore the body, for me at least.

I personally don't own any hikaris but I'll be grabbing both of these sets when they're both on sale. can never have too much venom, hope this means that we're getting a venom dorbz soon too.
