I don't know how to tell without taking it out of the box and scratching at it. It's not mine to do that with so I can't really do so.

Definitely chrome. Looks fantastic in-person, although you'll have to keep an eye out for scratches. The one I picked up and looked at closely had some scratches on the side of his head. I considered buying one, but decided not to. I'm trying to cut back on Rogue One Pops. Sticking with just Jyns and troopers.

hot topic system kinda blows allowing 10 of whatever is ridiculous. thankfully the most people took were 4 ea. felt bad for people behind me I got the last dragonzord at 8 in line. couldnt understand why they wouldnt limit it to one per with 30+ people lined up outside.

I have pre-ordered it so I can only hope that it doesn't have any scratches. My other chrome pops are near perfect. I guess if it does I can call it battle damage/wear and tear.

Yeah, same with my local GameStop. I think GameStop got some of the weaker ones in a lot of people's mind (or flippers mind ha). Personally, GameStop had most of the 'must haves' for me!

Gamestop had the only thing I actually wanted from NYCC. It was a relatively simple purchase though, which is odd because usually their website just sucks.

Got everything I wanted except for a Balrog. Only 1 at my Barnes (Seriously?!?!). I was first in line but a kid behind us only wanted the Balrog so we let him have it. But it's all part of the Funko culture that I love. Collectors helping other collectors out!

For this NYCC I'm looking for Batman Chrome, Freddy Liberty, Speedy Gonzales, and Scrooge McDuck.

Stay awake until 3 am last night to get the same issues that almost everybody go with B&N website. 2 emails from Paypal, nothing from B&N and a website that was still crashing.

After a 3 hours sleep, decided to wake up to go in person at B&N. Got 2 persons in the line in front of me at 8:56 and was able to grab my Batman Chrome ! :-)

Came back for classes on time. Almost fall asleep there but found out 30 minutes after everybody that H&T put their exclusives online. Decided to give a try for Scrooge McDuck. Everything went went. Took me 30 seconds to order it. (I wasn't ready to fight with my computer again after B&N screwed up my night)

So got the 2 POP I was looking for so I'm very happy with my hunting !

Waiting for Freddy Liberty and Speedy Gonzales to go on sale now. Anyone know when we can expect them to go on sale ?

I was able to get Dragonzord, Chrome Black Batman, Dengar, Cereal Ad Icons, Beastman, and Boba Fett. Very happy with how i did considering that i had no trouble and didn't need to go to any stores lol

I would guess it will only be 1 POP per day. Tomorrow will probably be 1 POP and 1 other item and then Saturday and Sunday will probably have 2 other items each. I wouldn't be surprised if James Gunn dropped tomorrow, because I'm guessing tomorrow will have the least traffic and then Freddy on Saturday, when there will be the most traffic, followed by Speedy on Sunday when there will be slightly less traffic. Again, this is just me theorizing, I could be totally wrong.

Came in 10 min late to my first Barnes and noble (had a doc appt) and missed the batman I wanted.. drove to another B&N that opened an hour later and had 16 ppl in front of me so I knew I would miss out there too..

Thankfully I wasn't discouraged and had a good morning with online stuff, jetted over to TRu and was able to get all the pops I wanted (pretty much one of each)

My fav has got to be the 3pk Masters of the Universe Dorb set! Anyone with me?? They just look too cool!

Got everything I was looking for ... mostly online last night with some extra "fill in the blanks" this morning in the stores (Jyn Erso/Toys R Us). I must say, some of these look much better in person than online ...
Jyn Erso, Chrome Death Trooper, Batman, Superman, Destro, Beast Man.
One thing I would have like to see was the gold on Scrooge McDuck be a little shinier ...

I did pretty well yesterday too. Got what I wanted from Hot Topic (Donald, Goofy, Scrooge, and Micheal) and got the Ad Icons which I know aren't NYCC but they were part of the day's crazy launches. Only thing I missed out on was Bone Daddy which I was pretty upset about but nothing I can do. Just gonna wait him out for a while.

Popcultcha was awesome for me, I got Jaqen, Lyanna, Dwight, Buffy & Faith. I thought they did a great job with the way they had a waiting line before you got onto the site, made it better with less delays and freezing like previous conventions.

Likely it won't. I spoke with a rep yesterday and she said that only 5% or so of the orders went through. PayPal can take up to 5 business days for a refund to show up. But, this means that a quick restock may occur - just like it did for SDCC on B&N site
