You'd think that Barnes & Noble would have this figured out by now. This happens every time con exclusives are released. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

As for Hot Topic, I wish they'd hurry up and go live. It's getting a bit ridiculous at this point.

I logged out and back in to WF. Showed about 15 charges from BnN and 3 refunds. Calling in the morn...er, later to have them all dropped off. We're better off going to a physical store.

At about 1am CDT, it changed from Coming 10/05 straight to a grayed out Add to Cart and was that way until 2:30am CDT when I went to sleep. I don't know if anything happened in between.

Gotta say this was a lot easier than I was expecting. I only went to two stores but they both opened early and barnes and noble was limiting people to two of the same upc. No pushing or shoving at all.

Got
Scrooge, grindlewald and Boggart/snape for me and death star droid and chrome Batman for a friend who in turn picked up Dwight and the first doctor for me

Just need to track down Dengar and faith/Buffy which I'm okay spending a little extra for.

I've only ever purchased from HT but Yes! HT will have their NYCC exclusives in store today. They should also be online (they haven't gone up yet). If possible, I'd suggest following your local HT on instagram; they're pretty good about posting what they'll have.

Just got off the phone with B & N customer service. (I had 7 credit card charges and 0 confirmation emails)

They confirmed that if i didn't receive a confirmation email and if my order isn't showing up under My Orders on their site, the order did NOT go through. They also said the pending charges should drop off in a couple of business days. Because of the ordering mix-ups, they advised that i should NOT try and place another order online until the charges have gone away from my cc.

I took a shot in the dark and asked if they could guarantee me my order but they said they couldn't.

Looks like i'll be going to my local B & N this morning.
