Good question. And something I really should have put thought into at the START of my Collecting Journey.
I'll put pictures up in the 'Your Display' section once I've finished rearranging everything. But have decided to focus on 3 sets, and sell of the remainder gradually, section by section.
Leaving me with TMNT, HTTYD and GOTG (okay... Fallout and Stan Lees as well, for the timebeing).
TMNT - Completed the Pop set (excluding the 2 upcoming releases of Baxter Stockman and Leatherhead) with all exclusives, Turtle Van, Freddys, etc (still a few colour Protos to hunt down). All the Hikari, Dorbz, Mystery Minis, Pocket Pops, MyMojis and Wacky Wobblers. Have the Fabrikations on the way. Will prob get the other merchandise purely because its TMNT (I dont use pencils but why wouldnt I add pen toppers?) and am expecting PSH sooner or later... Hoping for a Dorbz Ride too...
My 2nd TMNT Pop Set (Pops Only) is so I can display OOB and keep them In Box as well (one of each) - aside from Baxter Stockman and Leatherhead (awaiting release) I just need to add another Leonardo, Donatello and Casey Jones and my OOB Pop collection will be pretty much complete (Haven't gone for an OOB set of the SDCC Metallics, Amazon 4 Pack or Spongebob Leonardo pack but I will eventually) and the Freddies, I might just get a 2nd Raphael for OOB (1/24s are too expensive so I'll stick to keeping the one set In Box).
TMNT is BY FAR my favourite collection.
The rest is all non-Funko (Loyal Subjects, Kidrobot, Neca, Playmates (Original Toys) and some Hello Kitty Turtles (prob more still - Lol - I have a lot of TMNT stuff).
How to Train Your Dragon - have the full sets of Pops and Mystery Minis (with a few double ups) but the next big mission is to try and get hold of all the Loyal Subjects figures which have only recently been released. Not Funko, I know, but equally amazing pieces and I fear, even harder to come by (especially if you're living in Australia). GOTG I have the full set of Pops for Series 1 and 2 (awaiting delivery of Teenage Groot). Have all Series 1 Dorbz n XL Dorbz (need to get them sent over from my Freight Forwarder) and all the Groot Hikari - just not the 1/1 Wood Finish Groot (signed by Brian) that was recently auctioned as part of the Funko Charity Auctions on eBay. Probably would have got it but my phone and eBay app died 10mins before Auction Ending (while driving).
Will go for Series 2 of the Dorbz once SDCC has come to an end. Not as keen on the GOTG Mystery Minis or Pint Size Heroes - think I'll stick with Pops and Dorbz for now, but may go for these a little later...
Oh, also 3 Dancing Groot protos (1x Pop in Colour, 2x Pocket Pops in Colour & White) but I doubt I'll try to expand beyond that (at least not till I have all the missing TMNT protos I'm after...). Fallout is a complete Pop set for Series 1 (?) - Fallout and Fallout 4 but only the Pops, plus Pocket Pops n Vault Boy Freddy Funko. I have most of the latest Pop releases as well (I think its just the Liberty Primes I need). Didn't go for Dorbz yet and considering selling these off so I probably won't. Unless a Fallout 5 game happens quick smart. Stan Lees - I sold both the Freddies recently and never got the 1/10 Chrome Silver Nd Gold editions but have all the other Pops with a few double ups. And the Dorbz (Dorb?) - pretty sure there was only one of those...
Whilst I feel they are likely to increase in value in maybe the next 2 yrs (guesstimating here) I'm in talks with another Stan Lee and Funko collector (fellow Australian) to try and get them all to him for a package deal/discounted price - the excitement he is displaying (and pleasure he will get if I sell them all to him) far exceeds the profit I could make selling them at full price (I'm here for the hobby and community, not to try and make Pops a business or investment).Other than that most are in boxes. Sold off most of my Avengers 1 full set of Pops but still have all of Avengers 2, excluding Hulkbuster (sold), all Arrow and early XMen Pops.
Had no idea what direction I was heading in initially (seemed to be towards Marvel lines) but my new 3-5 line focus is definately helping save space (and backfill any gaps I might have).
By the end of the month, I'm pretty confident TMNT and GOTG will be updated with any later releases (once SDCC has been n gone) and I can't wait.
I might just need more time to get hold of the Thanos XL Dorbz as he's a little harder to come by. N from there, I will eagerly await any/all releases ESPECIALLY
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and
How to Train Your Dragon. Will prob try and get as many Loyal Subjects figures for both lines whilst I await future Funko releases.
