Some awesome collections indeed. When I originally posted this I thought I would be lucky if 5 people responded. To see how much love there is for Dorbz now is awesome. I do have to say, if you aren't releasing them from their cardboard and plastic prisons then you're missing half the beauty. My absolute favorite thing about this hobby is getting a dorbz in the mail or at the store and taking it home and finding it it's new home. Since I display mine in numerical order it can be quite time consuming but also very fulfilling. Especially when my son is with me and helping me figure out where it goes.

Yeah, my son was like many others when we first started collecting. He didn't love the dorbz. But he's come around fully to the dorbz side. And when we start getting Star wars dorbz?! He's going to lose it. Lol.

Ugh, Yogi Bear! Wanted those so bad, but it wasn't meant to be I guess lol

I've always wondered if the multipacks actually have numbers but they just don't list them... is there ever any skipped numbers with the solo boxes?

[quote="Lilbrimer23"]I'm curious, anyone have a complete Dorbz collection? I don't necessarily mean every variant like the extremely limited Huckleberry Hounds but at least every made so far.

I ask because much goal is to have a full line of dorbz some day. Of course with all the new lines there's no telling whether I will reach that goal. But that's the goal for now. In under a year of collecting I've amassed 293 dorbz so far.

I'm just curious whether someone besides Brian@funko has beat me to it or not.

Also I'm curious to see how many dorbz our avid collectors have so please feel free to post how many you have.

Below are some pictures of what almost 300 dorbz looks like. Lol.

You go on to say, "My name is Jonathan, can I call myself a noob anymore? 1400 pieces and counting."

Your collection is beyond awesome ... and when you have a collection like yours you can refer to yourself anyway you want lol

I got like 270 or so. Just started like early this month. Took advantage of the clearance section @ Gemini and the Easter buy 1 get 1 half off @ Gamestop. Needless to say, I spent a chunk of my disposable income that I was saving to start a new collection. I guess Dorbz won it.
I was thinking on going Pop! but I just could not fathom the thought of spending so much money on old pieces and even in new ones just because they're exclusives. I felt that with Dorbz I could get closer to have a full collection sometime soon. My latest purchase has been the full set of Banana Split Ridez at a local comic shop. The owner came back from the fairs and he had 3 complete sets. I had some in store credit so it was pretty affordable.
I also like the fact that Dorbz is kinda keeping it closer to mainstream than Pop!, at least for me since I don't watch many TV shows. However, I don't really like the lack of new releases VS Pop!. Here I am hoping to see many more Dorbz from Pop!properties.

I'm close to completing my GOTG wave one Dorbz collection. Just need a few more pieces. Thankfully, they're all just 47 cents at GameStop. Just gotta find them.

I am debating if I should get or not the Banana splits ridez. I remember the cartoons vaguely (like the Musketeers and the He-man like dude and Arabian nights theme) but I don't remember the actual Banana splits. I also find them very unpopular but the price tag is so high that I am afraid that if I don't get them now, they will jump in price. Then again we are talking about unpopular characters (vs Marvel, DC, etc) and Dorbz, which we all know Dorbz don't skyrocket as much as Pop!. Anyone has these 4 ridez or any advice?

If you're not at least in your 50's then that's probably why. It aired in the late 60's/ early 70's and most definitely had the hippie vibe that was popular at the time.

That's kind of an oxymoron, if they were unpopular then they wouldn't be so high in price :-)

For being limited 300 pieces, I think the current price is pretty good. For the most part it looks like they're going for around $80, but I've seen a couple recent sales as low as $60 each.

Update: it seems everyday I get closer and closer to completion. Just missing a few here and there as far as commons go. And I'm able to keep up with new releases pretty really. Just haven't found any chases in awhile and the rarer pieces aren't getting any less rare. But I will not give up. 385 Dorbz and counting.
