but even though I don't watch South Park, aren't they missing some of the main characters?

Yeah I'm surprised by these being the first released and butters is kinda odd, I know I'll end up with them all though lol

I'm not happy with these at all. I had high expectations, because I feel like the South Park characters already have a Pop look. Butters is my favorite South Park character and I don't like his Pop. He's all eyes.

I will say Zombie Kenny does look good.

I hope they make a Professor Chaos. Maybe he'll look good since Mysterion does. Maybe South Park Dorbz aren't too far off, too.

Also, where are Kyle and Stan?

I would have thought we would have seen the main character, such as Stan and Kyle.

Zombie Kenny looks ok, but I think I will just end up getting Mysterion.

Butters is weird. I think in part because his drawing on the box has eyebrows, but the Pop does not.

Odd that there's no Stan or Kyle.

Loving Ike's flapping head!!!

And Zombie Kenny is just awesome.

And yes please, give us Terrence and Philip!!!!

But i like this set.
Gives you more to look forward to since this is a new line. I expect Coon n Friends will be made

Yeah, unfortunately this is one line that I don't think turned out well at all. Zombie Kenny is likely the one I'll buy. Bummer. Hope others like them.

Hell yes! South Park, finally!

I agree about butters, he definitely looks a little funky. I know most pops are brow-less, but a ton of the emotion on SP characters comes from their eyebrows, they look unfinished without em. I do like the Cartman, but I don't know about the piggy variation. I've already got as many Cartman variants as I can handle thanks to kidrobot, and I'm not ready for another pop variant-a-thon. Maybe I'll just hold out for a standard Cartman store exclusive...and, of course, a Fatbeard. Absence of Kyle and Stan, and standard Kenny I guess, is weird but I'm sure they're planned for a wave 2.

That said, Zombie Kenny and Ike look great, and I'll get Mysterion too, he looks solid as well. Hoping for an eventual Coon and Chaos to go with him. Maybe when FbW comes out.

Many aren't happy but I'm ecstatic. This is just the beginning, but to me it's nice to see not just standard characters. Looking at this wave, it gives hope that we will get all kinds of South Park residents and variations. That's the exciting thing I feel as you could build a legit South Park community. Now I won't lie Butters looks weird and since it's a glam shot hopefully they can add the eyebrows and possibly a mouth before they start production. If not Funko, Brian, anyone please make sure you add those details. Both the eyebrows and mouths are intricate to the design of the character.

I honestly don't know what to think... I LOVE South Park and was super hyped about these and planned on buying the whole set but I don't know anymore. They seem off. The absence of Kyle, Stan, and a regular Kenny is weird when we get Ike of all people. Hopefully they are planned as exclusives or for another wave. Just don't think Funko captured them in POP! form very well kinda like the Family Guy ones. I'm hoping South Park Dorbz are on the way because I think they would look great. Cartman I will say looks the best. Might be because he has a mouth. Who am I kidding? The inner South Park fan in me will still buy them all lol

YES! I think eyebrows would make a big difference. Maybe I'll just buy a Butters Pop and put eyebrows on him. Or maybe the actual Pop will have eyebrows and they were left off the glam. I worked in the beauty industry and I know eyebrows are important. Now I really get how important they are. :roflmao:

I was a bit taken aback by the lack of Kyle or Stan. Or even regular Kenny. I'm happy with Ike the Canadian lol

I'll end up buying the set, but I just don't think these look great and it was a line I was very excited about.

These don't work for me at all. They mostly look like the character. Look at Cartman, do you see a Pop or do you see Cartman? I see Cartman first.

I love Ike and zombie Kenny. Butters could use some eyebrows but I don't think any look bad. I'm sure there's a lot of happy south Park fans!

I agree, if ever there was a series that would translate to Pop form it'd be South Park.... or so I thought. these just look weird, and they are seriously hurting from lack of mouths.

I haven't watched South Park in a very long time, but it seems...they started out weird? I thought they would have done normal-ish of at least the main characters. But they get their own line, so there's bound to be many more to come!

South Park is one of my all time favorite shows so I was happy they were making these. I think most of them look acceptable, but poor Butters is kind of embarrassing. With such stylized yet simple artwork, it's a pretty tall order to translate that into Pop form. I think maybe some exceptions could've/should've been made to help the essence of each character really shine through.

I'll probably be buying most of these, but not sure I'll be getting Butters – which is a shame because he's such a great character.

I agree on butters. he came out really weird but I'm glad for Mysterion. Now they just need the rest of the Coon & Friends. Can you picture a flocked coon? or a metallic mint berry crunch? F* yeah...

I have to disagree. South Park has very round heads and Pops are more like a rounded corner rectangle shape. Also, the South Park eyes are large with small pupils and are very close to each other. Pops are beady, black and far apart. If there were more details to South Park characters, it wouldn't be as noticeable, but since the characters are so simplified, every tiny detail counts. If anything, South Park looks more like Dorbz than anything else.
