Lucy and Ghost Charlie Brown seem much harder to come by. I've had pretty good luck finding these in SoCal along with some crystal pepsi for that extra nostalgia.

He rummages through the unopened box, pulls out the Pop case and cuts it open, letting me have my pick. Yes! Got Ghost Charlie and Snoopy. Also saw the Great Pumpkin Pop Mugs, but I don't need those.

Congratulations!!! Exactly how I got mine.

Most stores have them in the back with the Halloween stuff. You just have to find someone KIND enough and WILLING to go digging for you.

I think common release pops don't end up in every store that sells pops. I don't know if it's just my area, but it always seems like different retailers have different commons, with only some overlap. I've only ever seen the common Peanuts at Target and BN, but never at GS or HT here. So these might show up at some stores but probably not at GS.

GS happens to be the only store I've seen Peanuts Pops at. Both GSs in my area. I couldn't even find the SDCC exclusive Snoopy at B&N. B&N had TONS of every other exclusive that was shared with them on the morning of SDCC day 1, and through the weekend, but no Snoopy. The only one missing.

I must've missed the Peanuts at my GS then. :-k I love that I'm wrong. Hopefully these show up there.

As for the Patriotic Snoopy, there was one left at my store when I left today. If it's still there when I go back to work Monday, I can grab it for you if you want. We had a whole table set up and as of when I left, we had 1 Snoopy and about a handful Violet's, and several Pie Man pops. They were all moved to the Pop displays since the mission they were on had to change over.

Thanks for the offer, but that was not a Pop I was looking to buy during SDCC. I'm sorry if it sounded like I was. I was actually able to get everything I wanted.

Im sure they do too. I should have added more detail to my rant. I never asked them about Peanuts Pops specifically. One of the first few stores, the clerk volunteered that the bins were in the back, but that they cant even look at them till the BTS stuff was gone. So I just never asked about bins in the back after that. The main thing I dont get is that in the "seasonal" isles (here), we are still loaded with BTS stuff. Every store I visited. Yet people here are finding them on the shelf. So BTS stuff has sold out elsewhere in the country, just not here in MA/CT?

Oh man, they really know how to get you, don't they! I LOVE THESE! I'm a huge Peanuts fan. I have a collection of the CVS figures from 2008 or so. I need these Pops! Of course my Walgreens has no clue what I'm talking about every time I call about them. I go every once and a while and check, but they only have Marvel & SW. :(

Atascadero Walgreens had one snoopy in the Halloween section today. None at Santa Maria or Lompoc stores on the Cali central coast.

Went in Walgreens a couple of nights ago and was looking at the Pops in the toy section. A girl that works there asked if I was looking for anything specific. I asked her about Marvel, Rey and the Peanuts. She said that she got Nightmare Before Christmas Pops for the Halloween display instead of Peanuts Pops. According to her, some stores are getting Peanuts, while some re getting Nightmare Before Christmas. Not sure if she legit knew that or not.

She also told me that they got those Rey Pops about 6 months ago. So, I'm taking what she said about the Peanuts Pops with a grain of salt.

Several of my Walgreens now have a tag/area set for the peanuts pops (it's printed on the tag) and mugs in the Halloween area, but only some have the mugs and none have the pops...but I bet there is a big wave of them about to hit.

I even talked to a manager that told me they had a shipment of them but they're gone. When I pointed out they had an area and a tag for them in the Halloween area he was a little shocked and surprised :roflmao:

Stores got both the NBC and Peanuts Pop! sets - NBC for an endstand, Peanuts for the aisle.
The promo aisles are now reset like regular departments with a planogram and price tag batches. They must have had somebody just print those and set the shelves. Somebody later will scan and fill the shelves.
These were not reorderable from the DCs, so what's out there is all there will be from Walgreens.

So sorry for every ones experiences at Walgreens. As a manager it really rubs me the wrong way to hear how some of you guys have been misled with false information.

Unfortunately, as popular as Funko has become, it is still a niche brand. Most employees and managers simply will not know much about it all, and the company sure doesn't do a great job of communicating the arrival of products, let alone exclusives. I find out about exclusives online instead of from the company.

To make matters worse, they assign all Marvel exclusives the same WIC, all Star Wars exclusives the same WIC, and then all other licensed non exclusive POP's the same WIC. That goes for Peanuts and NBC...they were both linked to the non exclusive WIC. I tried to order more twice. Once I got a box of Steven Universe. Second time I received a box of Pac-Man. We ran thru our stock of Peanuts in 2 days. We had 2 boxes of NBC and after 3 days all we had left were 3 Jack's.

Several times I've tried to order the Rey Walgreens exclusive and each time I have received the previous wave of Kit Fisto etc, it's frustrating for you guys, and for me because I try to get the product in for my customers.

Last piece of info I can offer is that NBC should be on an Endstand but all stores did not receive enough product to support an Endstand due to low volume of sales. Peanuts POP's should be located on the decor side of the Promo aisle. I've seen some stores have small displays up by the front counter as well. Also an employee saying we can't check because we still have back to school left is lazy. They are just saying that because they don't want to look. An effective manager views his distribution and knows what is coming in a couple days ahead of time and makes plans to display that merchandise as soon as it comes in because it will never sell if it's in the stockroom.

I think this is going to be true at most stores except for maybe Hot Topic. Most of my coworkers and managers have no idea about any exclusives that come into the store. A few of them own a Pop or two, (almost all of us bought a Harry Potter pop at some point) but we don't get a lot of information from the company about anything new or exclusive to us. I know from checking on here but they mostly find out when it shows up in the store.

But thank you for this information! :) It's really helpful. My local store hadn't finished setting up their Halloween stuff yet when I went in this past Friday so I'll try to check again soon to see if they get anything in.

Walgreens Halloween set by date is Sept 9. Expect them out this week if they haven't put them out yet. They are in the first 3' of the 'decor' section, at least in my store.

Set date is indeed the 9th, but these should have been out for a week or 2 now. I manage a "well experienced" 24 hour store. High volume, and with our remodel got robbed of all our additional promo space, but we still moved back to school to one side of promo and got our decor out within days of receiving it. Every store is different though. Every store should have received these, even low volume stores. If most of Halloween is not out yet then maybe that store is running behind and there's still hope they have them in he back. Regardless, an employee could go to the back and find them for you, if they won't then ask for a manager.

Just wanted to thank you for this post.

I've been EXTREMELY frustrated with Walgreens. I'd been to probably 15-20 in the Indiana/Ohio area looking for Rey over the past 3 months, and finally my friend in New York (who'd also been looking for them) found two for us, two hours from his home. I figured I was in for a similar issue with these Peanuts figures, and so far that's been the case. But I read this post this morning, and thought okay, what the hell, let me run down to the 24 hour Walgreens before I head to work. I show up - and sure enough, right where you said they should be, I see two of them. They only had Charlie and Flying Ace Snoopy, so no Ghost Charlie/Masked Lucy yet - but it's a start, right? So now I'm on the hunt with renewed enthusiasm. Appreciate the info and the post! They did indeed have an endcap of NBC as well.
399 POPs and counting...
