After waiting a week with no update (cancellation or tracking) I finally contacted customer service and they gave me tracking....so for those scared to contact customer service if you're stuck in limbo maybe don't be! I have my Indy on the way to me, just hoping he gets to me safe!

Mine arrived Saturday. There was a cut on the top of the box and a sticker on the side window with Mickey, Minnie, & Donald on it.
I guess I shouldn't complain because I was able to get one but seriously Disney what happened? I know Disney knows all too well about collectibles.
Oh well...now to try and get the SDCC Indy without taking out a second mortgage

Actually with the box being based on the ride then you should be blaming Mara because you made the mistake of looking into his eye.

What state are they shipping these from? I thought mine had been cancelled but I got a shipping notice yesterday. I've having it shipped to my brother in CA but he just happened to come here for a visit. And he's told me that packages have been stolen from his front porch. And the shipping email didn't have a valid tracking # on it so I can't track it either to see when it's going to be delivered. He said he could have a friend stop by to pick it up but I'm trying to figure out about how long it would take to get there.

I don't want to send them on a wild POP hunt, so my question is...where exactly should I tell them to look? Is he only at Pin Traders or are there other locations in the park where he is available?

Sooo... the wife and I went to DL and stopped at DStreet first and talked to a couple of the sales associates there. Here is what we found out...
1) I'm starting to think certain stores are sending out mis-info or strange info because they don't really know either.
2) DStreet no longer has an "outside line phone number." I guess downtown disney now only uses a centralized number, and will flat out not connect you to the individual store. Used for internal stuff only. So even calling the 1800 number to say you left your credit card, and ask them to transfer you to the store doesn't even work.
3) Dstreet associate said they were "supposed" to get a shipment of Indys a week ago, but he was told disney merchandising re-routed them to the "online/ap" shipping center because they oversold online. (that would explain why some people who's online orders were canceled, actually got a shipment)
4) The merch "traders" that sit outside the D-street store are still there. I counted 3. From dawn till dusk. Trading pins, little vinyls and stuff. They did not have any Indys on hand, and were waiting for them to come in. So even if you think they might show up, these guys WILL be buying them first since they are sitting in front of the store, then telling their buddies to come buy more, and they will disappear fast.
5) Dstreet couldn't tell me their next scheduled shipment. (then how did he know about the last one?)
6) in-park... we were told by an associate (who said another associate told him....) they received a "small shipment of 20" about 1.5 weeks ago, tried to restock around noon and customers were grabbing them out of the boxes before they could put them onto the shelf.

Ok.... that's the latest info I could find. And remember... I don't really trust the knowledge of the associates. Not their fault... most are just hearing rumors like we are. So take everything with a grain of salt.

Yeah I never really trust the front line cast members because they could either be spreading the rumors that we have heard, or be purposefully spreading misinformation to keep the flippers guessing. Also I call BS to the phones being removed because the Merchandise Guest Services team has to call the location and make sure that what you want to order is in fact still in stock. They may have taken away for outside calls but they have a phone. When I was there 2 years ago for the 59th anniversary I really wanted a specific pin that I knew was out and looked everywhere. Finally on my second to last day I had taken a short break in the hotel room and called MGS and asked if they could help me locate the pin. Turns out it was in fact at the store I'd just been to but the CMs working there were unable to locate it when I asked in person but they had it on hold for me after the MGS CM asked them to find it and hold one for me. That is also how I got my 60th shirt last summer because it was my favorite design and I needed help finding it in my size at any of the stores.

I don't think they've had external phones for years. I've never been able to direct call the stores in DTD that Disney owns/operates (unlike say Rainforest Cafe or the AMC)

Since I have no plans to actually go to WDW until next April, and the online option seems iffy, I broke down and just bought off eBay. I've been waiting for Indy POPs for so long - I can't chance it anymore!!!

So I called Disney and they said it had been delivered that very day on which I received the shipping notice. My brother was able to have a friend check the next day and luckily the package was still there (along with a couple of other boxes) even though it had been sitting there for almost 24 hours! My brother got back home a couple days ago and sent me photos of the Pop and it was in mint condition! Phew!

Well done. I got the email on Monday and was able to order mine as well. Anyone who had their original order cancelled and haven't received an email yet, don't panic, they have set aside enough figures so everyone will get one. They are only sending out 500 emails a day to prevent phone call overkill....
