I had the same sort of issue today with my Gamestop order. Absolutely no packaging material at all in the box. Smashed my Burning Walker to smithereens.

What? You mean they didn't send it to you like this?

And in all seriousness, this box as actually come in handy at my house.

This is exactly what ours looked like. I don't count that as packaging material.

Yeah, you're right, that's not exactly packing material. I was lucky with my little 10th Doctor pop there back in February. He wasn't damaged at all. I now store a bunch of Pops in there.

I was unboxing my SDCC stuff and just noticed the Toy Tokyo 2-pack says Vampire Buffy and Vampire Angel. Why didn't use Angelus - which was his name (as a vampire) and is a much better name!

Weird

Angel could go "vamp face" and still be Angel. Aka not evil. So doesn't mean he is angelus just because he has vamp face.

I've been reading most people's post and I actually tried to head out and simply purchase one or two at Barnes and Nobles. Sadly when I did see the Pops they had most had severe creases and or damaged boxes. It sucked.

B&N came in a normal sized box, and even had some air packs. However, Pieman smells HORRIBLE. Like, bad. There's the faintest smell of maybe shortbread cookies? I won't smell it again. The plastic is so overpowering. Also, I regret touching the hat where everyone said it was sticky. Now I have a big fingerprint on it, because yes, it's sticky.

GameStop came in that cardboard divider box. Everything was okay, no padding though. Both Ceremony Han & Luke have a box cutter knick on top of them, but it's not a huge deal. Iceman looks awesome. I love that he's see thru.

my barnes and noble newt order was stuffed into a skinny box, barely big enough to fit it. It's crushed, asked for a replacement.

That's how my B&N order looked. I'm disappointed because I always defend their packing haha. I would ask for a replacement, but I don't want the hassle of mailing something back or returning it to a store.

Game stop package was great. It came in a giant box (wasn't necessary) but they filled it with packing air bubbles and My Burning Walker Pop was perfect.

Toys R Us was horrible. They used a big enough box, but omitted any packing material at all. Two look good and the third has a slight indent on one side. It could have been way worse.

i hate barnes and noble exchanges also, they shorted me 10 bucks last year and never made it right, but this newt has a smashed front. if it was the back maybe i'd be alright with it.

The New system for the Funko booth totally left me not wanting to try again. I waited from about 1130pm the previous night into the morning thurs, I wasn't in the first tent, but I was in a pretty good spot near the beginning of the 2nd tent. Apparently that's wasn't even close to even letting you attempt to get a wristband. All said and done by the time I even managed to make to sails and back down the stairs : / apparently people were just cutting in line from the back of the building anyway

Just made it home from SD and this was on my mind. Had this same exact experience to the T. I got every single other exclusive con pop at the convention from Fugitive, EE, Bait, funimation, conan pop, fundays, and the pop up shop(btw they were the best...quick, efficient, orderly, and all around awesome!). Also bought all my convention exclusives online. They only things I missed were Indy and Disney ghosts from the funko booth because people just cut in line in the back(after I waited since 2-3am). One guy was walking around the con floor with Indy on Sunday asking for $225 and told me it will go up to $500. You shoulda seen the evil eye I gave him
Great idea funko with the wrist bands but for me it was a fail imo. If they would made the Funko line inside the con instead taking you in then back out might have been better. I couldn't go cut in the back because I had Thursday and not a Friday-Saturday badge. The fact that I even had to contemplate cutting in line kinda peeves me off. Anyways rant over. Like I said I got everything else plus fundays was AMAZBALLS so I'm not that mad just that Indy was the one I wanted most.

I kinda liked how funimation did it, they marked your badge, limit 2 and said if was a free for all to try again after 4pm on Saturday... Giving a lot of people a chance to get 1 at least before then

Posted this elsewhere, but did anyone else have a Hot Topic box come damaged? Pop box has a decent amount of damage, wondering if a return might be in the cards. Also, this isn't little damage, box looks like it was punched in the side.

Also, my Gamestop was WELL packed. HUGE BOX with tons of paper packing for two pops. Pop Boxes had minimal/little damage.

Same here. I was expecting a tiny little caved in Pop-sized box with a ton of packaging tape (I only ordered one Pop from GS), but instead got this enormous package. I actually really appreciated it, and I hope other stores catch on.

I got my ecto 1 from Target today, looks like they played soccer with the package and the Pop box was so crushed I could barely get to pop out to make sure it wasn't damaged as well! Good thing I'm oob.

But here's the strange thing, one of them has a heavily damaged window, looks like it was melted somehow. The Ride is fine. I bought two because I'm planning on wiring one up with lights so the one bad box is no biggie.

B&N shipped in a big enough box to ship 2 Pop!, but no bubble wrap or paper. They did not come perfect, but fortunately did come in reasonable shape.

I bought two because I'm planning on wiring one up with lights so the one bad box is no biggie.

In NY we're experiencing a heat wave. Just got a delivery from Amazon for some household goods and anything with plastic packaging is melted

I always wondered how well Pop!s stood up to extreme weather. I live in the south where it isn't atypical for the inside of my car to be 109 degrees in the afternoon. I left a few Pop!s in my car for over a year and when I recently took them out of my car, their boxes were fine and so were they when I unboxed them which I am relieved about. I remember reading somewhere once that people left their new Pop!s in their cars while shopping and it messed with them.

Yeah..It's been in the Mid to high 90's all day and I'm guessing the back of the USPS Truck probably reached 105-110 degrees. When the Mailman rang the doorbell he was drenched in sweat.

Finally convinced my mother that buying the Haunted Mansion Ghosts wasn't a complete and total waste of money only to miss out on four different sets of them today. One was stolen away from me while I was making a counter offer, missed out on two other sets while making bids on an auction.
I guess the ghosts aren't meant to be in my collection. :/

I've been watching the auctions waiting to see if they get low enough to get a 2nd set for my GF, I was surprised to see someone post 3 sets yesterday at 290 with a counter-offer option. Is that the auction you're talking about? They went pretty fast. With the popularity of these and the 1000 piece runs I really didn't think we'd see them for less than 100 each.

Someone sent me a counter offer of 280 and I was about to to accept it when someone else swooped in and stole it out from underneath me. Seriously. I was about to click accept when the alert came up that it had been bought. I was also waiting on an auction that I lost and when I went to get to the sets being offer for 299 they were all gone. Someone even raised the price to 499 for one of the 299 sets. I guess now I'll have to look for Hatbox and Phineas separately!

It was extremely frustrating! Almost was near tears as sad as that is.

If anyone sees a Phineas or Hatbox let me know! I need to complete the set!
