Pop Movies "Director" Line

I think people are overreacting to the term "Director Line" in the subject that should probably be edited when it's clearly part of the Movies line. Just like when Bryan Fuller was in the Television line, it doesn't mean there's going to be a ton of them.

James Cameron would raise the bar on director Pop. James Cameron doesnt do what James Cameron does FOR James Cameron. James Cameron does what James Cameron does beacause HE IS JAMES CAMERON!!!

What's next CEO pops??? Ooohhh that Jeff Bezos pop is spot on! Did you see the sculpt on that Richard Branson pop?? They even got a Virgin logo on his lapel! They're called POP vinyls for some strange reason. I get that this is a Funko run board and I'm not saying anyone shouldn't appreciate this line, but sometimes I get the impression people are stretching it when they say they like certain lines...this is kinda nuts considering the dozens of other things they could be doing that people are actually asking for. Sorry...just don't see the appeal when there are plenty of other "Pop" related things to draw from. It's ok to say we don't like things too...

Yeah, I don't really get where the naysayers are coming from. If you're a big pop-culture/movie nerd, then you probably follow directors and start becoming fans of their work.

Paul Feig is a weird choice, but I get it since GB is about to come out and I'd LOVE to see more. I'd like:

-Tatantino
-Robert Rodriguez
-Dan Harmon
-Luc Besson
-Del Toro
-JJ Abrams
-Kevin Smith
-Hitchcock
-Stanley Kubrick

I've never paid much attention to directors, even though I love watching movies.

I would however get a Hitchcock, to go along with the wife's mystery mini and to sit amongst my horror Pops.

It is more the line doesnt work well OOB for a lot of directors because most people couldnt tell you who they were thats the issue. I

Lucas
Spielberg
Mel Brooks

would be who i would get in this line if they made them tho

As someone who got their degree in film I would totally flip over this line if it does end up getting made.

I would love to see a Guillermo Del Toro pop made (he's my favorite director). They already did Crimson Peak so I don't think it would be too hard to sell to people (I know at least I would buy him lol

). He seems to love any type of art/collectable that people make about his films/himself.

I love all of the suggestions do far, though. I think a line of more 'classic' directors might sell better, though, as more people might know who they are and know their films better! lol

However, I know there are a lot of modern directors that people love, too. There's so many possibilities.

Yes, yes, yes! Not the biggest Feig fan, but I desperately want more Pop directors! As an aspiring Director myself, these could easily become one of my favorite lines!
Off the top of my head I want Spielberg, Hitchcock,Tarantino, Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Edgar Wright, J.J. Abrams and George Lucas.

Just no Michael Bay please. lol

I came up with this list earlier: Spielberg, Lucas, Apatow, Tarantino, Kevin Smith, Hitchcock(already has a Mini.), Scorsese, Peter Jackson, Burton, Sergio Leone, J.J., Whedon, George A. Romero, Mel Brooks.

I think all these directors have a distinct look and could make for nice POP!s. I wouldn't personally buy them all, but I could see why they were made.

I think people use bots to grab them, which is why you hardly have a chance by just refreshing the page. A flipper will pay for a bot considering the profits.
