It looks like Paul Feig is going to be the first movie director (that I know of) to get the Funko Treatment! And it looks like it'll be a Funko Shop exclusive.
I wonder who else they have planned to make?

I too would like a Zack Snyder pop, so I can burn it in effigy.

I think most of us know the bigger directors by name but not what they look like (with maybe a few "celebrity status" exceptions like Hitchcock or Lucas). Just seems strange to do Pop renditions of people most of us wouldn't recognize anyway.

Nailed it. Very few directors are known well enough to warrant merchandising. There certainly ARE some, many of which have been named here already. Hitchcock, Lucas, Spielberg, Tarantino, Burton, Scorsese, Woody Allen, Kevin Smith, and then some of the actors-turned-directors like Ron Howard, Clint Eastwood, Mel Gibson.
But the fact is, outside of a devoted few (either to the film industry or pop culture in general), most people probably have no idea who Paul Feig is, what he looks like, or that he’s directing the new Ghostbusters movie. I’m not gonna complain though, things like this give me hope for the more niche people that I’d like to see made someday.
All in all, i’m glad we’re getting something like this, but Feig is a weird place to start.
