Yeah, seriously. It doesn't flow at all for it to be a 4 pack. The Hawkeye and Spidey looks dope though, I would love to get them seperately. I will most likely pass on this pack though.

It's a common release, not exclusive to Gamestop, but it seems like the only way to get that particular Hawkeye and Spider-Man.

I'm sorry but that set is complete trash. They know people want that Spidey with the shield above most, so they put it with two crappy keychains that already have 15 variants, "action pose" Hawkeye and charge $30? Sorry, but I don't want all this garbage they try to shove down your throat when all I want is the funko pop itself. I can almost guarantee that Spidey won't be available outside that set unless it's a legit SDCC exclusive and wouldn't be surprised about Hawkeye at least exclusive to someone. I'm tired of paying a premium for a bunch of junk I don't really care about in boxes and sets just so they can laugh all the way to the bank while only stopping along the way to slap their customers in the face. People can say "you could just sell or trade what you don't want," but that doesn't change the fact that you still have to get all this crap in the first place and have to try to deal with it all. I'm just getting to the point where I am starting to question if funko is worth my money anymore because of crap like this, every convention debacle, the incredibly crappy, lazy and redundant variants/repaints, debacles with every sub box, and general lack of caring for their customers. I truly do really like collecting, but this is getting ridiculous. I don't care if I'm the only one who says it; I sure as heck am not the only one feeling this way. End of rant/please go about your evening with joy.

I love it! It's an experiment on their part-if it's a success I would love to see other variations on the idea of two regular pops+2 keychains. Definitely need the Hawkeye and wouldn't mind the other figures either. All you haters can just not buy it. Leave some for the people who genuinely like it.

You guys can use the small cap and iron man with the spider man and have a sort of forced perspective recreation of his scene from the movie where he is high above them with the shield. I'm sure that's what they were going for.

Can we just clear up that this exists partially due to licensing issues? Because that's what I took away from the Periscope. It's not a ploy to make more money, it's literally the only way they could make the Spider-Man pop. I'd have to go back and rewatch it to get the direct quote of what Yoko said about it, but from my understanding, it was this or no pop at all.

Is there someone who can clarify or confirm?

Either way, I love both of the new pops. These action poses are looking great and I'm glad Funko has been stepping into more dynamic pops lately.

I sort of got that vibe but why is this specifically the only way?

Was Sony in the office saying. "You can make spider-man. But he's gotta be a big deal. Bigger than Captain America and Iron Man combined. In fact throw some tiny iron and cap in there just to show them who is boss."

"I like purple throw a purple guy in there. Sony out!"

That's what I took from periscope, that Spidey wasn't happening outside of this 4 pack. Sounds like licensing for sure.

I wish I knew. It might be more of workaround than anything. "It's not officially Spider-Man merch, so we don't owe as much money to Sony."

I know that with Fox, they get a certain (pretty large, if I remember right) percentage from sales of X-Men and F4 merch, which is why there isn't a lot of it. (Why focus on a license that won't bring in as much money as another?) So it might be a similar situation with Sony. Licensing rights are really complicated and murky sometimes.

Yeah, I feel like maybe, if they did a second wave, we'd see a Hawkeye pop, but this is the only way to get Spider-Man.

And what do us "haters" who just want the pop figures without the experiment do? Forgive people for not agreeing with you and the others who accept it, for us to just want the actual pops without the inflated price and garbage accompanied with it is pretty ridiculous, I know. Sorry, but some in-box collectors won't like this and we're allowed to have a voice too, like it or not, but to just say that we're "haters" because we don't agree with some pack that's being forced on us with things that don't make sense and are an obvious product push is a little ridiculous.

For someone who only collects regular sized POP! I don't want to buy all the included stuff. Does that mean I am a hater?
