What is your "I'm not going to start the ______ line."

We all have a line or lines that we've told ourselves we wouldn't start collecting. Possibly for fear of not completing them or because the cost of the ones you want are too much.

For me it WAS Star Wars....I caved with the Target Kylo Ren, then unmasked Poe....then I had to get a wicket because of my nickname. Then I just got a Spirit Yoda from my Walgreens....

Star Wars. I almost caved when the shiny C3POs started coming out, but I just collect too many other lines that I just don't have the space and in the grand scheme, Marvel, Star Trek, Doctor Who and Horror trump Star Wars any day of the week anyway.

In the beginning I was like "hmmmm...maybe I'll just get Yoda...and Vader...and maybe R2D2...and maybe...."
I stopped myself and quickly moved on.

The new Pops for the new movie are cool though....

Most of the new tv stuff. Mainly because i hate the idea of getting one shelf of a series and then no more coming out from that series. Like with sons of anarchy

Yes, Star Wars for me too. I mean at one point I actually posted somewhere on these forums that I was not going to collect them because there were too many variants. But in my defense, I only have about 2/3 of the series now lol

I'm thinking about getting rid of my Walking Dead, since its so hit and miss. I really like the show, but I'm not current so makes me think i should trade it out. It's such an extensive line as well

Star Wars still.... and I've been doing pretty good so far, haven't caved and bought any just yet. Im more of just a Darkside fan so I already don't plan to get the whole line. Mostly just want Vader and hella Stormtroopers.

Definitely Star Wars...said I wouldn't get any then I got 2 R2 variants then I had to get all of them...then all the Fett variants...and ugh now my wallet hates me haha

Star wars here as well. I kept telling myself I would stick to Supernatural and Marvel, then I saw the shiny 3po's and thought them alone would be ok. A week later I now have 8 star wars and more to come, whoops.

Geez I had a lot. First it was Marvel, then DC, then Walking Dead, and now Star Wars haha. I've settled on Star Wars, but now I want to start on Marvel.

when i first started collecting it was Star Wars and Game of Thrones.

At the time not collecting those two lines meant the was about 65 that i didn't need to try and chase and let me focus my money on the Marvel and DC lines, which were my reason for starting to collect.

My wife is a huge, huge Star Wars fan, but at the time Han Solo, Jedi Luke and Obi Wan, which she said were an integral part of a Star Wars collection, were such hard to get and expensive figures, that it wasn't hard to convince her to be happy with Star Trek, Firefly and Supernatural.

luckily, or un-luckily depending on how you look at it, when i was getting close to being "up-to-date" with everything that i wanted to collect that was easily available at retail price, the "un-vaulting" of the star wars figures was announced, so i started to collect the star wars line.
and being pretty much my Wife's favourite franchise, it was very easy to convince her to grab an extra figure or two whenever i did an order haha

I will not buy Doctor Who, Protos, nor most of the Disney line, because some of them are really pricey right now. I don't want to start collecting Dorbz, but I may buy a couple if I really like them.

It was totally SW for me. I kept going "Nope, that's a money sinkhole. You are not going down there." But then Force Awakens hype kicked in, and the unvaulted Pops meaning I could get the main characters for MSRP. Plus, chrome Threepio is awesome.So far I only have 3, (Boba, chrome C-3PO, R2D2) but I know that will increase soon.

I'm trying to stay away from non-Pixar Disney, but Baymax broke that.

Well I told myself I wasn't going to get any of the reaction lines and I haven't. I only picked up the BTFF Idols when I didn't want to get any. I don't plan on getting into the LOST line since I already have two other LOST figures lines even tho I want too. I only plan on getting a few more GOT and TWD.

I don't like bobbleheads so Marvel and Star Wars characters are a no buy for me. I play Disney Infinity (The figures are imo better than Pops!) so I only get minor Disney characters like Timon and Pumba who probably won't get an Infinity figure.

Always great to get your other half on board. I came home multiple times to my girl saying "so I was bored and on that website you go to for pops and they have .........! So I preordered the set. I was like yes!!! We've arrived at doing this together haha

Surprisingly for me, it was the Doctor Who line. And I'm a Whovian! I thought I would just get a few, maybe a 10th and 11th because they are my favorites. But then I got just one or two and realized that I couldn't stop. They are just too darn cute! I need the entire line!
