Your ReAction Questions Answered Here!

Let's talk about Funko and Super 7's great line of ReAction and Legacy action figures. They don't bobble or pop, but they thrill in their own fun way.

I see there is a diggle version of the Arrow figure coming out, if you need easy characters to re use, a white canary from Black canary mold, and Ras al Gaul from Dark Archer, (he would need a new head) or put the unmasked oliver queen head on the Dark Archer body, Just a few suggestions, Thanks.

Is there any news about what is coming out next?
Getting a little worried that after Fight Club there will be a huge gap in Reaction offerings.

Funko has been oddly silent on Reaction lately. Reis hasn't answered questions in some time. What is going on?

I'm a little worried by the lack of communication.
Kinda concerned we won't see Munsters or Aliens or Dark Crystal.

Maybe Reis is on vacation? Somebody involved with the Dark Crystal line said on facebook that the figures are delayed to next year.

As long as the Dark Crystal line is just delayed and not cancelled.
Was sad to hear Bill and Ted and Planet of the Apes are no longer on the list to be made.
I hope the new direction things are taking will infuse the same amount of fun and "Hey I can't believe they finally made figures for this" as Jaws, Fifth Element and Star Trek 3 3/4" Original Series.

Hey gang. Thought I'd chime in here because I'm seeing a lot of people hitting the panic button, somehow under the impression that ReAction is going away. Let me make this very clear: IT'S NOT. :)

At the moment, we're trying to come up with a smarter game plan for 2016. We knew that we wanted 2015 to be about making a big splash (and we did), but we'd like to see 2016 be about licenses that make more sense for the line (ie. vintage 80s) and coming up with a better plan for releasing them in a more spread out fashion throughout the year.

Some stuff on the short list got bumped to 2016 so we could better take our time on them and do them right, some long list stuff got taken off completely because it just didn't fit what we have learned does best in ReAction form, mostly newer properties.

I don't want this to turn into a "What about this? What about that?" conversation. I can't really comment on the lists at the moment, because they are in such a fluid state right now. But we're getting a handle on it and are sure you'll be pleased.

In the meantime, just hold tight, trust in the fact that we're not going anywhere and you'll have some new soon-ish, with lots of new big reveals at Toy Fair (I know, that's so far away).

Sorry for being a bit absent lately, but like I said, we're reworking ReAction and I've had a thousand other Funko projects to work on (Pops, Mystery Minis, etc.).

So, deep breaths, people. Everything is fine. See you in the toy aisles!

I had a question about the Wolfman I've picked up two and they both have a problem moving their legs. Looks like the paint made it stick together. Has anyone else seen a problem with this or is it bad that I play with mine lol

Thank you for the response, Reis.
Great to hear things are still moving forward and that we shouldn't panic.
Looking very forward to seeing which 80's properties are going to come next as Reaction figures.

I hope they don't just stick to 1980s lines, Don't get me wrong I like them too, but it is nice to see modern lines such as Arrow and Flash in this style as well.

I hope that The X- Files is still a possibility for Reaction. That's a property I think would be fun provided we get plenty of "Greys" and monsters. Since they are looking back at older licenses I wonder if Dark Shadows is a possibility?

I would really love a series of 3 3/4" Space 1999 figures.
Classic TV Toys did the Mego versions a few years ago and I wished they had gone the 3 3/4" route.
Is there any chance of a series of television figures which may include Simon & Simon, The Fall Guy, Magnum PI, Riptide, Miami Vice, Jake & the Fatman, 21 Jumpstreet, Hunter and Charlie's Angels?
The 70's, 80's and 90's were such a golden age for television and had so many memorable characters.

Sorry, but we have found, both in feedback and in sales numbers, that the older stuff (mid-70s to mid 80s) works best for this line. Arrow and Flash just didn't get the response we'd hoped. I think it was an odd mix of a modern license in an older style format, which sort of made for a disconnect with most collectors.

But don't worry, we have some cool ideas for more modern licensed action figures. But I can't say anything further about that right now. ;)

Dark Shadows is a bit too old. Nor do I think there's a large enough action figure collector base for that show.

You have to think bigger. Think larger fan base. More specifically a larger action figure buying fan base.

I understand how trying to find properties from the 70's and 80's with a sizeable fan base that would also buy action figures would be a bit tricky.
The Last Starfighter would seem to be a great idea but are the fans still out there to buy the toys?
But would there be more Boondock Saints fans or Last Starfighter fans?

Hi Reis,

Purely theoretical but if you were to do a Judge Dredd figure would it be more likely to be from the Stallone movie or the recent Karl Urban movie?

Damn. So in other words, Game of Thrones has been completely kiboshed. That's disappointing. That's definitely a line I would have bought every figure from.

I don't know, I still think Miami Vice and Magnum, P.I. could be solid sellers.

I'm pretty sure that most 80's TV heroes would be a winner.
MacGuyver, Miami Vice, Magnum, Michael Knight, Hawk, etc are great properties that never got proper action figures and Reaction would be the perfect platform. I think that fans would love to have those iconic characters interact with their current collections.

I would love to have the Miami Vice duo go after Scarface and be stopped by the Terminator or Dracula.

Hi Reis,

Thank you and everyone at Funko for the Reaction line. I must say, this has been my favorite collectible line of all time. The complete Jaws set brings my collection to 25 figures. I have waited my whole life for a set a Jaws figures and they are way beyond my expectations. Love them! Is there any consideration for The Lost Boys, the films of Stephen King, or Twin Peaks? These are some of my other favorite properties and I feel greedy for asking, but what the heck, ask I will. Thanks.

Hey gang, I just want to reiterate that I can't comment on any questions regarding any upcoming lines, what's still on the list and what isn't, until we have something more concrete to report. Things are just shuffling around a lot right now, so it wouldn't be fair to me to say "Yes, this is happening!" because that could change next week. I truly appreciate the enthusiasm you guys have for upcoming stuff, and rest assured, there WILL BE UPCOMING STUFF! I just can't comment on that right now. I'm only mentioning this so all of you who are asking about potential lines don't think I'm ignoring you.

In fact, it's probably best to keep the suggestions relegated to the ReAction Wishlist thread (which I do read and take note of).

That way, we can keep this thread more about the process and whatnot. Hope that all made sense! :P

Mr. Reis,

It will be nice to have some type of fantasy ReAction line. I suggest a line of ReAction figures for Game of Thrones characters. Also would be nice to have ReAction figures for the 1982 Conan movie. Can you please look into these suggestions?

Have a good day.

Horror and NBX or getting pushed back a bit, while we restructure. But they are coming! The second series of NBX figures are gorgeous! But, sorry, they won't be arriving in time for Halloween.

Why is the masked Arrow figure the exclusive? Shouldn't it be the other way around? I would really like an Arrow figure, but no mask, no dice.

Totally appreciate that everything's up in the air as the ReAction line gets restructured, but if there's any point at which you know whether or not the last "Tomorrowland" Athena figure is still being produced, please let us know! (A lot of fans keep asking us over at Tomorrowland Times.)

I think the masked version is a chase, not an exclusive. I know it's frustration finding chase figures, but even on the secondary market, they aren't too expensive, so you should be able to find one.
