Question about a rare(?) Hikari I came across.

Postby eggbeater » Wed Jul 29, 2015 10:33 pm

So I was in hot topic and on a top shelf I saw a transformer Hikari that was matte black. The strangest part was the number on it said 009. Every hikari I've seen will say 1000, 2500, 750 that sort of thing. Anyone know what the deal is here? I can't seem to find any info online about it. Not sure if it was optimus or bumblee but it was all black. Thanks for the info

Sounds like an upside "600" sticker. If it was truly an LE 9, I don't think Funko would bother to put two 0's in front of it... and the likelihood that you would stumble across one at hot topic is very slim.

Did it look like either of these?

Ok that is easily the funniest thing ever. You are exactly right. The hikari was so high that I guess I didn't notice the text was upside down. Thanks so much for the info. I can't stop laughing about this.

Thanks for the chuckle :roflmao:

Little know factoid - James Bond was originally an Asian named L00, but the writers turned the script upside down and 007 was born  ;-)
