Cartoon Network/Adult Swim

Postby chriskrispy » Tue Jul 28, 2015 12:47 pm

So I know we've gotten Regular Show and Adventure Time series. But I'm curious why we haven't gotten classic Cartoon Network or any Adult Swim Pops at all. The opportunities are endless and I know they'd be a hit. Watching Rick and Morty the other night really made me ponder where these are haha

I would die if these came out! ATHF and HTF those two shows oh man, I'd be over the moon. I know Happy Tree Friends really isn't related, I think they may have aired for a bit though lol

There's a good possibility! If they can make Bravest Warriors Pops which doesn't even air on TV, I'm sure HTF is possible!

They did them in Wacky Wobblers, that's actually the reason I started collecting Funko.

ATHF Pops? That would allow me to die a happy man. Frylock (w/Metallic braces), Shake (GID from toxic waste) and Carl (Flocked for chest, arm and back hair)? I'd purchase many.

I actually didn't know that, I don't really follow/collect Wacky Wobblers. If that's the case, now they really need to get on it!

That would be such a cool license to have. The could do everything from Robot Chicken & ATHF to Eric Andre & Tim and Eric.

Personally I would loveeee Harvey Birdman and Venture Bros.

Most importantly, SEALAB and HOME MOVIES!!

There's a ton of phenomenal potential with Adult Swim, for sure. I've wanted Rick & Morty and Venture Bros Pop figures forever. ATHF would be perfect as well. Although the thought of Meatwad with Pop eyes is sort of terrifying.

Adult Swim shows make up the bulk of my most wanted lists- lol. Aqua Teen, Venture Brothers, and Rick & Morty are all musts. Space Ghost and Harvey Birdman are high up there, too.

If they made a Harvey Birdman, I'd probably have to go back and collect all the Hanna Barbera characters who made guest appearances.

They already did one Pop! from Children's Hospital, so more Adult Swim figures certainly seems like a possibility at least.

Said it before, but this Carl variant would pretty much default to my favorite piece ever:

Image

As for other Adult Swim, Frisky Dingo needs all the pops...so much Killface. And Metalocalypse, all five members of Dethklok with Dr. Rockso (he does cocaine) oughta do it there. Bonus points for Dethklok variants with corpse paint.

90's CN with PowerPuff Girls.
Modern's with Over the Garden Wall.

(Also, I'm going to go a bit off network with the WB's Animaniacs, because I would rather not make an entirely new thread for it.)

Your point still stands, though. Venture Brothers deserves its own thread, imo. I don't understand why that show isn't more popular.

Give me some old school Cartoon Network pops. Give me some Ed, Edd n Eddy, some Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog (I heard this one may actually be happening), Dexter's Laboratory, Cow n Chicken. I grew up with some of those shows and I would be interested in some of those.

Not totally Cartoon Network related, but I'm surprised Scooby Doo hasn't been done yet...

Cartoon Network is totally on top of the Cartoon game, and has been for a while.

Space Ghost, Zorak, Brak and Moltar would be absolute must-haves.

Steven Universe is my most-wanted Pop series right now! Seriously, if Adventure Time and Regular Show got Pops, so should Steven Universe.

I'd like some oldschool Cartoon Network represented, too. But Space Ghost and Steven Universe are on top of my list.

Dude, I'll take every member of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday...

Disregarding the main 5, Aqua Teen is ripe with villains just begging to get the pop treatment. The Mooninites, Plutonians, Cybernetic Ghost, and MC Pee Pants are obvious, but then you've got the B (and C) lineup - Brownie Monsters, the Frat Aliens (my dad....owns this dealership), the Remonster, the Trees, Willie Nelson, Wayne The Brain McClain...I'm just gonna stop this cause I could go on and on. I want ATHF pops.

I was wondering this just the other day. I could really go for a Space Ghost & ATHF set and maybe a Harvey Birdman set, too. Sealab also, ideally. Just thinking of the theoretical [as] sets I'd buy instantly makes my wallet ache.

I already have my Secret Squirrel. Now if I could just get the rest of the major players in his court case...

I'm gonna add One Piece to my list, since the (surprisingly not-that-terrible!) English dub is currently airing on Adult Swim. Not a CN original program by any stretch, but still! :D
