Barnes and Nobles Comic Con Exclusives

So, I've been calling around to all of the Barnes and Nobles in the Salt Lake Area, and all of them have been telling me that they still haven't gotten some of their minis for Thursday, but they 'should have them by then'. This makes me a little nervous. Has anyone else checked into their Barnes and Nobles to see if they've gotten theirs and, if so, about how many they got?

I wish that I knew a little more. I was going to use my lunch break to go to Barnes and Nobles, but they don't seem to know if the Pops are even going to be there on time. Well, I'll still probably try. I really want Unmasked Captain America and Arrow.

Lol, I used the same excuse to get out of work Thursday. If I hadn't there'd be no way to make it until late in the evening which I'm sure by the. They'll be picked over.

I work an 8-4:30 shift and my work is halfway between me and the closest B&N So i should be able to make it in and out then to work easily

Morning shifts are not pop friendly.

they're SUPPOSED to limit it to 1 of each per customer, somebody asked B&N and they cleared it up.. but people are calling stores and being told it's one item total, so it'll depend on how much each store interprets it the wrong way.

The vinyl vixen is not available at b&n until later this month, it wont be an item sold tomorrow.

That date maybe an error. Good luck if it isn't !! I called one B&N to confirm the time and was told that the time listed on the website was incorrect! I was thanked for letting them know of the error and was told the correct time should be corrected to 9:00am:

Most, at least in NYC & Brooklyn, seem to be based on the store's regular store opening hours. Called another store to confirm sale hours. The store associate assured me the sale starts at the store's normal store opening time despite this on the B&N website:

Well.... if you read the posts you'd see none of our examples fit your scenario. Some open at 10, sure, but none of us gave an example that said 10am so it doesn't really apply. All these are really odd hours like 7pm at night, 1am in the morning and mine was listed a day early for no reason. These aren't their actual open times, these are incorrect event times.

Good thing I just checked the B&N website. Apparently the location I was planning on visiting tomorrow doesn't seem to be participating. The other one isn't much farther from me so I'm not upset about it. I would have been VERY upset if i had gone there tomorrow to find nothing there but "Throwback Thursday-1960s".

Interesting. I feel like I would have a better shot at Tribeca. Union Square feels more like their NYC flagship store. Guess I'll see what train I want to take to work tomorrow.

And calling the store to ask if they are selling their exclusives when they open or only at the event got me
a speech about the free poster with purchase, a minion exclusive available later this month, and a wonder woman
exclusive. Was oblivious to anything about shared con exclusives. Guess I'll just have to stop on the way to work
when they open tomorrow and find out.

Hopefully the website is an easier option and I can get the two Whos I want that way instead.
